Colina Mar Apartments

The views are amazing but the food and service are awful. The staff other than Crazy Pants at the bottom pool are incredibly rude and ignorant. Breakfast is OK, lunch you can sometimes find something edible but the dinners are awful. First night we only managed soup. Thought it would get better......nope. one night they puy lasagne out as we stood there so we were pleased and took a portion.....it was stone cold like it was straight out of the fridge. Everyone was spitting it out. If you complain its cold you get told to use the microwave round the corner to heat it up yourself!!! Unreal!! Ate out 5 nights out of 7. Great places in the centre across the road. Wonderful all you can eat Chinese buffet on top floor. Beds are comfy and rooms have great views but food and entertainment is bad so won't be back.

The Colina Mar is a good hotel and is a great base for your holiday. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Europa Centre where there are plenty pf bars, restaurants and shops. The pool bar at the hotel is good as are the bar snacks and pizzas. There is a full food service available, however, I have never used this. The rooms are not air-conditioned so it can get very hot in the summer. I have been going to this hotel since 1999 and have been every year since 2014 except for 2021 due to the pandemic. I will be back again next March and I am happy to recommend this place.

Check in very quick , requested cot in the room on arrival. Room very clean and towels changed every couple of days. Pool area very clean. Food something for everyone . Could do with more chairs on an evening outside . overall would definitely go again

Very nice hotel, excellent staff, amazing views, we did not eat here this time so can't comment on food. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need and amazing views over the marina.The only thing I would say is entertainment at night is not very good and ends at 10 pm.

We have just returned after a weeks holiday at this hotel.Hotel is clean staff very frendly pools are clean and plenty of sun beds no need to rush. Location of the hotel is great for eating out. The BBQ at the hotel is good value for money

The Colina Mar is a good hotel. The rooms are basic, but you get what you pay for. The staff are excellent. There are two pools each have a snack bar, we always use the small pool, it's usually quiet. The large pool area can get busy. They have entertainment in the main bar each night. Each room as an excellent view over the center of Puerto Rico. I like the place.

yes rooms are basic but clean , ,pools are fab , food could have had more choice , but you won't go hungry , met some lovely people & laughed till we ached . Staff Johnjo , you made our hols, always smiling , we will see you again my friend.

very good holiday really enjoyed it good service very polite always cleaning the paths and walkwayspool area cleaned daily,food catering for all classes very helpful. shop a bit expensive better going to the spar close by.

Our holiday was fantastic because we made it so , it was a shame that the hotel we stayed in was let down by lots of clumps of hair in the pools, rude bar staff and rubbish entertainment , we came with 2 children and the children's club was pretty much run by parents IF anyone went , we've been too many hotels in gran Canaria because we love this place but this was by far the worst one I have stayed in , the rooms were nice though, we had a daytime male barman go away for 3 hours so we couldn't have a drink and then swore at us when he come back because we had said it's a shame we couldn't get any service when we payed for all inclusive, while he was also drinking throughout the whole day so he was clumsy while making our drinks , shame we had high expectations

After reading some of the reviews on line, I thought I'd made a big mistake booking The Colina Mar Apartments. I needn't have worried, We had a great family holiday and I don't recall talking to anyone there who was not satisfied with their holiday. Sure the evening entertainment is not brilliant, but for what your paying what do you expect. The rooms are clean, ok the colour scheme is naff, and the service is generally quite good. The Buffet is varied enough to ensure there is always something appealing to eat and the pool is cleaned at least 6 times a week. Would definately recommend The Colina Mar and its views to anyone.

overall great hotel,spotless rooms with fantastic views over Puerto Rico great location next to Europa shopping centre food was ok queues were not big for food drinks were good too, pool was kept clean. one day we went to aquapark and left our safe open the manager contacted us immediately when we returned to advise us and to check the safe everything was still there she had also taken a photograph to allow us to check that nothing was taken, felt very safe in this complex , I would return again, met some great people

The rooms a really good size with plenty of space to put your clothes. Nice big pool . Also when i had a problem with the front door it was fixed very swiftly. The staff were all really pleasant. Only down side was no air con it did get hot during the night. Would stay there again .

Travelled with family excellent location 5 minute walk from the europa centre where there are some fab bars and restaraunts.the views from our room were amazing. The room itself was spacious and the balcony was quite big also staff were friendly and helpful the house keeping staff kept the room really clean maybe the best i have seen and the maintenance men worked hard and kept the pool lovely and clean and tidy would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning
