Peaceful holidays in Zakynthos (Zante)

Escape to the relaxing retreats to the north of the island and you’ll have ample opportunity to unwind. Alykes sits close to the stunning beach in Xigia, which rivals Smuggler’s Cove for the dramatic depth of its cliffs. It’s a place of total isolation, your sense of serenity aided by the thermal sulphur waters, rich with natural nutrients and minerals that seep from the submerged rocks. The neighbouring resort of Alykanas has a similar atmosphere and is close to the inland countryside of olive groves and delicate jasmine flowers. It’s also easy to venture north from here and see white stone arches rising from the sea at the Blue Caves of Cape Skinari.
