The resort centre of Svoronata’s nestled 2km inland, surrounded by great swathes of wild greenery, so get ready to gawp. Swing by the local monastery to appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, or simply wander around the town and get the gist of local life. You won’t be far from neighbouring villages either.
While the sleepy main village of Svoronata lies a little inland, its coastline is sprinkled with golden sand across Ai Helis Bay, Avithos and Ammes beaches. Ammes in particular is a real source of beauty, thanks to its pristine, smooth shore and the fact that it’s super close to the airport runway!
