A holiday to Split wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Diocletian’s Palace. Built on the rugged coastline to house the first Roman Emperor to abdicate the throne in 305AD, Diocletian’s Palace is a beacon for all tourists as it proudly boasts the architectural brilliance of antiquity.
