Lindos

Fabulous Views to See Whilst on Holiday in Lindos, Rhodes
Whitewashed houses are huddled around a hill on a scenic little headland, with an ancient acropolis the crowning glory of the village. Exploring the temples and terraces of the acropolis really is a must and the views are spectacular but if you don't fancy climbing all the steps up the hillside, you can always go by donkey - although coming back down the steep track can be a little unnerving!
The traffic-free old town has a wonderfully unspoilt atmosphere, with the maze of cobbled streets and ornate architecture largely unchanged since the 15th century. There are, of course, plenty of little shops to buy local handicrafts and traditional tavernas for a glass or two of Ouzo. Eating out in the old town of Lindos is another magical highlight with countless excellent restaurants to choose from and the majority with a rooftop terrace to dine under the stars with fantastic views.
Fantastic Beaches for a Relaxing Holiday in Lindos, Rhodes
For relaxing by the sea, Lindos has pleasant sandy shingle beaches with sun loungers and parasols. The water is warm and inviting, watersports are available and the snorkelling is good around the rocks. On the far side of the Acropolis, St. Paul's Bay is a natural seawater swimming pool, completely enclosed by rocks.
Fabulous Nightlife to Enjoy Whilst on Holiday in Lindos, Rhode
When the sun goes down in Lindos, there are plenty of cheery bars and tavernas with live music and traditional Greek nights. There are late night clubs for those who fancy a dance but this is not the place for party animals and there are strict volume controls after 11pm.
