How much is the deposit?

The deposit is £30 per adult and £30 per child, except for bookings to New York where the total cost of the holiday is due at the time of booking. Infants under 2 on the date of return are not entitled to a flight seat and are not required to pay a deposit. It is important to note that if you cancel the holiday after making a booking, you will lose the deposit. Other cancellation charges may apply after you have paid the balance. Payment of balance?

Payment of balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure and will automatically be taken from the credit card used to pay the deposit. Please remember to advise our After Sales Support Centre of any changes to your credit card on 0800 408 5597 or alternatively email

When is the balance due for last minute bookings?

For any booking where the departure date is within 10 weeks of the booking date, the full cost is taken at the time of booking.

Our lowest prices

How come the price has gone up since I last checked?

Holidays are sold on a first come, first served basis, the system pulls together the current cheapest airfare available and pairs it with the accommodation of your choice. Therefore a quote is only valid if booked at the same time as checking as airfares generally increase as seats are sold. To guarantee the holiday at the price you are quoted you will need to book immediately or re-check the price when you are in a position to confirm your holiday. For the best deals, book early and be flexible when you travel or you could register your e-mail with us to be one of the first to hear about our best offers. Why does a calendar appear displaying a week and a price for each day?

This shows you on which days holidays are available and displays the best price for each day, thereby offering you more choice, flexibility and ultimately the best prices. If you see a better price on another date, simply click onto that price and the system will re-price the holiday based on the date you select. You can even toggle forward or back a week. This is a very quick way to establish our cheapest prices into your chosen destination around the original dates you have selected.

What do the red star symbols mean?

Our red star system highlights the standard of the chosen accommodation. All of our properties are 2 stars or above.

Are your prices guaranteed?

Our prices are guaranteed from the time the booking is confirmed.

Do you ever reduce prices nearer to the travel date? works by pulling together the cheapest flight prices for the date you wish to travel, with the best price for the accommodation of your choice along with any extras you choose to include. To guarantee the lowest prices are applied to your booking we strongly advise you book early, however our airlines continually monitor market rates for seats and occasionally promotional prices may be applied.

If taxes and charges increase after I book my flights what will happen?

If Governments or airport authorities impose increases or additional taxes and charges that will be in effect on the date of travel, Jet2holidays is responsible for collecting these on their behalf. We will notify you by email at least 5 days before debiting your payment card with the increased charges. Please be assured that no payment card fee will be levied in these circumstances. If your payment card is no longer valid, a Call Centre agent will contact you by telephone to request your new payment card details. If you object to any increases in government tax we suggest you contact your Member of Parliament to explain your viewpoint.

How do I make a group booking?

For groups of 8 passengers or more, please contact our Booking and Information Centre on 0800 408 5599, giving the group details. It is advisable to research the destination and be able to give a choice of hotels before contacting the Call Centre, please note that the booking will need to be made as more than one booking and your contact details will need to be given as a callback will be required.

What are the ticket collection or delivery procedures? will send a pack of documentation as attachments to an e-mail, sent to the email address you registered when making the booking. This will be sent as soon as the holiday has been paid in full and will include;

Booking confirmation / Flight voucher / accommodation voucher / transfer or car hire voucher / customer care document / Terms and Conditions is a ticketless airlines, therefore all you will need is the voucher attached to the confirmation email. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRINT OFF A COPY AND TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU TRAVEL - YOU WILL NEED IT FOR BOTH OUTBOUND AND INBOUND FLIGHTS.


How do I change or amend my booking?

Any amendments are on request only and must be made in writing by email to An amendment fee will be charged and the fee will be quoted to you at the time of change. Changes of date will also incur any additional increases in airfare for the new dates. All applicable costs will be quoted to you for acceptance – PRIOR to any changes being made. Please note that changes to any booking can only be made by the lead passenger on the booking. Please note that changes of destinations are not allowed.

Is my holiday protected?

In accordance with the E.U. Directive 90/314/EC all passengers booking with are fully protected against the loss of all monies paid to us for the holiday (and repatriation if required) due to insolvency.
