Jet2holidays.com Launches Three New Summer 2010 Routes from Manchester

Jet2holidays.com has today (17th August) launched three new holiday destinations for summer 2010 direct from Manchester Airport to Kos and Gran Canaria, which are brand new scheduled services not currently served by the North West base. The new routes also means the creation of 250 new jobs and the announcement comes as the airline revealed August has been its busiest ever month for bookings since it started flying over six years ago.

Further increasing its commitment to holidaymakers in the North West, Jet2holidays.com has also increased its frequency of its summer 2010 services to Lanzarote, Dalaman, Sharm el Sheikh and Tel Aviv. As a result of this expansion a new 737 aircraft will now be based at the airport taking the total number of Jet2.com aircraft at Manchester to 7 with 100,000 extra seats created for the summer period. Take advantage of these fantastic holidays to Kos and Gran Canaria:

Kos – 7 nights SC from only £259 per person inc transfers. Price based on 2 people sharing departing on the 9th June staying at the 2* Stenna Apartments, Kefalos

Gran Canaria – 7 nights SC from only £269 per person inc transfers. Price based on 2 people sharing departing on the 8th May staying in the 3* Oasis Bunglalows

Philip Meeson, boss at Jet2holidays.com said,

“Manchester Airport is an extremely important base for us and we are committed to providing people in the North West with unrivalled choice when it comes to their holiday destination.

“It is fantastic to be able to offer people flying from Manchester a number of brand new holiday destinations direct from the region. No other airline currently operates a scheduled service to Kos and Venice and we are confident that these will be extremely popular routes.

“We have a great understanding of what the people of Manchester want from their holidays – fantastic leisure destinations, low fares and a friendly service. This is proving to be a winning formula which seems to be working this summer with August being a bumper month for bookings. With the new routes we have just announced, we will continue giving people what they want.”

Andrew Cornish, Managing Director of Manchester Airport commented:

“This news is a real boost to holidaymakers travelling from the North West. Manchester Airport is renowned for serving a wide range of destinations and the additions of these scheduled services to Kos, and Venice mean that we are continuing to offer people in the region and further afield an unprecedented choice when it comes to their holiday destination. The fact that Jet2.com is continuing to expand its services from Manchester is extremely encouraging to the airport and the region as a whole.”

We – on low budget – are looking for all-inclusive holidays, not just self-catering. The total cost is what we need to know. Can we have all-inclusive adverts please?

    Thank you
