The exhibition runs until 17th June 2012 and contains 70 works from 1880 to 1910, including other renowned artists such as Monet and Gauguin.
There are many other exciting cultural events taking place over the summer, such as the Julidans contemporary dance festival, which champions innovative dance performances rooted in Dutch dance and features multimedia productions. If you’re visiting Amsterdam in August, the Canal Parade is a spectacular highlight of the city’s Pride celebrations in which hundreds of boats carry costumed party-goers through the city centre.
