Location & Resort

The hotel is located on the main road, close to the rail line, on the edge of the resort where Malgrat de Mar and Santa Susanna meet. The beach and a number of bars, shops and restaurants are located just 100 metres from the hotel. Originally a farming village, Malgrat de Mar has grown to become a package holiday costal resort; an ideal place for a beach orientated break in the sun. The large, open bay is crammed with souvenir shops, bars and British inspired restaurants, while the weekly market allows you to bag a bargain or local handicraft. Alternatively, stroll along the seafront to the neighbouring, larger resort of Santa Susanna, with a line of bars and souvenir shops linking the two resorts. During your stay in Malgrat de Mar, make time to visit the remains of the original Malgrat farming village, where you will find a daily vegetable market, picturesque square, town hall and quaint church. In the evening, the old town is the place to sample some genuine Catalan specialties from both land and sea, and located in the centre of Malgrat de Mar are a handful of pubs, karaoke bars and music spots.
