Los Lentiscos Apartments

On arrival we were allocated a room which was on the ground floor with a balcony right onto the pool. I think this is a major safety concern for children as there is nothing stopping them doing a runner into the pool from the balcony! Room was clean enough but crawling with ants everywhere the beds and everything :( The kitchen, I wouldn’t bother calling it a kitchen! It was older than the hills including everything in it lol but fridge freezer and microwave were a bonus! On check-in I think the staff were rude and uninterested in their guests, each time you went they were just miserable and unpleasant! The restaurant is probably the best bit about the place! the staff in there are amazing and the food is absolute top quality and fresh, it is probably cheaper than eating out at some of the restaurants! We travelled with our three kids, 6,2&9months and would probably return and use it for a base but take plenty of ant killer lol. Also the “beach” is about 60 steep steps down to a cove which is beautiful but absolutely no good for pushchairs! The prices are €5 per bed/umbrella and there’s a bar there so makes it a little easier for your hike back up 😂.

Appartments could do with an upgrade but very clean beds and apartment cleaned 3 times within our 10 day stay. Restraunt on site very good and cheap they do takeaway service too. There are plenty off restraunts outside the main entrance off the apartment block and a few shops too. Great bus service too Ciutadella and other places near by the bus stop is straight across from the appartments, you can get buses from Ciutadella to Mahon all the bus have air conditioning. Very nice place to visit not too busy . Our apartment opened up on to the poolside which was lovely but could get a bit noisy once there was plenty kids around but there are plenty appartments away from the pool. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, pool and grounds were kept very clean. Would be a great holiday for couples or family’s. Only negative is there is no air conditioning only fans which were very much used and needed!

Firstly when we booked in they put us right next to the hotel bar..no joke the noise was horrendous and no way could we leave the patio door open for any amount of time.. we the got moved too room 48 which was further away and up on the second floor.The apartmens have no air-conditioning so do get very hot..please bear this in mind.. The beds are extremely poor and uncomfortable, the mattress are the cheapest of the cheap and frames old an rickety , headboard was only attached one side and would fall off even when slightly knocked.. electrical wires were hanging out of the wall lights..which cannot be good especially if you have youngsters...also the metal weather strip on the patio door is bent out which could cause an injury to legs if not careful. Worst thing of the apartment was the wooden bathroom door handles... when I gave them a clean with a wet wipe , the wipe was pure black...uhhh how many unwashed hand must have touched them.... Nothing in the world would make me ever set foot in there ever again...I was so glad to leave ..

los lentiscos appartments are good value for money,nice pool areas for kids and a good restaurant close to all the bars and shops also bus stop right outside ,only problem no air con rooms very hot at night

Only just makes 2 stars no day time or evening activity as told in brochure and many steps to beach also not mentioned in brochure. Rep in resort never meet and had to see her at appointed time to book excursions. Bed and furniture need updating and very few cooking tools and pans
