Melia Alicante

This was my second time in the Meila Alicante.Fantastic hotel for a city break as close to all the bars,restaurants & shops but also two minutes from the beach.The breakfast room looks right across the bay with floor to ceiling windows.Lovely

So glad we upgraded to the level.I was abit disappointed with the lack of space on the junior suite balcony but the two bathrooms made up for it.Service in the level bar was very good .All the staff worked very hard and it was appreciated.One very small improvement would be to provide a slip mat for the bath.We tried the attached spa and I must admit I was surprised that children were allowed into the spa and run about despite the silence signs !! Overall a good holiday will recommend to friends.

my wife and I have stayed in a lot of hotels across Europe and the Carribean and this hotel (Melia Alicante) is without doubt one of or the best we have stayed in, the staff are first class and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay, the rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished, the pool is amazing and the food in the restaurant superb, I can't speak highly enough of it, we are planning to return in the summer with friends who are looking forward to experiencing the hotel

Great stay at The Melia Alicante. Stayed for 10 nights bed and breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of room to seat all guests comfortably and choice of food second to none. Catered for all nationalities and tastes. Restaurant and service staff were all superb and looked after us extremely well. Bar prices were a little on the expensive side but plenty bars and pubs out and about to suit all tastes. My only slight downer was the 'view of the Marina'.....yes if I stood on a chair and leaned well over to the right. It didn't spoil the holiday>

Great Hotel. Stayed on the Level and well worth the extra you pay. Staff are helpful and friendly. We would stay again! The location is great for the beach and within easy reach of the centre. Bars and restaurants are close by and you have a good choice of varied menus. And there is no kids allowed on the Level so its good for couples that want some peace.

WE stayed in the Melia on the level which is adults only last july for 8 days. It was fabulous from start to finish. The room was amazing with views over the harbour and such a comfy bed with a pillow menu which added to that. The breakfast was fab and so relaxing looking out to sea. The staff are so nice friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. My best recommendation s i am going back this year for 10 days as it was one of our best holidays ever.

We had a great week's stay at Melia Hotel Alicante on half board basis. We had a fifth floor room with balcony overlooking the harbour which was great for the view and to watch the world go by. The food was excellent with a varied choice of self service breakfast catering for all tastes. Dinner had a four choice menu of three delicious courses. Dining room staff were very courtious, friendly and attentive to our needs. All staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's location, comfort and attractive staff.

Second time staying at Melia Alicante, very easy check in and although we were offered an upgrade the person did not inform us up until the last minute there is an extra fee for the upgrade (we thought upgrades were free) Our room was facing the marina, a very pleasant view of the marina and promenade we had. A small gripe was that there are disco/clubs/casinos on this side of the hotel and there was a festival on at the time and the patrons were still going home at 8.00 am. A bit noisy and unfortunately, a complete mess. (We are not taking the Melia to task over this, as its out of their control) The bar staff are excellent at their jobs as are the staff at breakfast and lunch. Overall, another great stay at this hotel, we will be back.

This was my second visit to this hotel this time we went for new year the hotel is in a great location with sea views on one side off the hotel and Mariana views at the other staff were excellent breakfast was good but coffee was cold quite often this was because staff refill coffee pots with the coffee that is left on the tables I found this very of putting also got a room upgrade cost a hundred and forty euros I wouldn't do it again as was not worth it the hotel rooms are nice and cleaners do a great job

Great staff and restaurant but not suitable for a holiday/break. The hotel is set up for businessmen and conferencing. Décor throughout is very bland and rooms small compared to other 4 star hotels even though we up graded
