Olympic Palace Hotel

Great holiday at Olympic Palace In Ixia. Hotel and food lovely, staff really nice and very helpful although possibly more required in restaurant area. Booked two trips through Jet 2 rep, one to Lindos which was a fabulous day and a Rhodes by night trip, do not booked the Rhodes by night trip if you are in the Olympic Palace hotel, it cost us 48 euros basically to be picked up and dropped off, misleading as states walking tour, NO TOUR. We could have done it ourselves on the bus and saved around 40 euros if we had known this before we booked it.

Brilliant hotel. Spacious, friendly staff in all parts of the hotel. Food is delicious, and plenty of choice. Swimming pos, one heated. Always found a sun bed and usually able to find a shady spot. The grounds of the hotel very well kept. Gardeners working hard everyday

Good all round. The outdoor facilities were good including the swimming pools and beach. There was always an excellent choice in the restaurant. Rooms were kept spotless and towels including beach towels changed daily. There was always a bottle of water and tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily.

If you are going to Rhodes, you really need to stay in the Olympic palace. Superb hotel, spacious comfortable clean rooms. Great setting, built around a mountainside with marvellous sea views. (You have to book a sea view). The food was excellent and so much to choose from. What meant the most to us were the people. The staff were terrific, so helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Vasiliki at reception and Irene in the restaurant. Every staff member we came across cleaners, bar staff, pool attendants were so nice. They have a great animation team and very good entertainment schedule. Ixia is a small resort with only a few bars and restaurants but Rhodes town is only a 15 min bus or taxi ride away and it is brilliant. Top tip .... If you are in Rhodes and ask for a large beer be careful you could end up with a 2ltr glass boot of beer. We had a fantastic holiday.

2nd time at this hotel and we cannot fault it. Take a pair of beach shoes as it is difficult to walk on the pebbles. Recent room upgrades are great. Beach towels provided, toiletries provided.great food, friendly staff..

Food was varied and well presented. Facilities were excellent. Staff were extremely helpful. Close proximity to nice bars and cafes only a short walk away and easy bus access into Rhodes town. . Overall a very pleasant experience.

This hotel is just great, lovely friendly staff, from reception to room maids and restaurant staff. seaview rooms are fantastic, food is lovely. We have been going back to this hotel for years and hope to go back next year too

The hotel was nice but not a five star, the food was average.There were lots of activities to do during the day.The customer service was good The cleaning of our room as a bit hit and miss, sometimes it was done really well and at other times it wasn't.The hotel was celebrating its 40th birthday while we were there, although the fire show was entertaining, their time keeping of this and other evening entertainment was really bad.

The location of the hotel is good far enough from Rhodes town but close enough by bus. It's only 55 minutes walk to Rhodes and despite the heat we walked most days. The hotel is big and has around 343 rooms but it's a well oiled machine and everything functions well. The food is varied and always fresh. The staff are very nice, special mention goes to the lovely Paulina in the lounge bar downstairs and the restaurant manager who always has something to say no matter the time of day. He is always vigilant and we said to him that he doesn't miss anything that is going on. The pools are busy but always clean.

just come home from amazing week in the fantastic hotel great food great service friendly staff with everything you need we were unable to get a late check out but they offered us shower facilities with fresh towels and storage for our cases and as we had a late check-in we were given a early meal on our last day perfect will go again

The Olympic Hotel was amazing. We always try to book 4*+ and this hotel passed all expectations. The room was comfortable, large and very clean with everything we wanted. The restaurant and food were first class with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The hotel overall was always clean and the pool area was exceptional. The staff were always friendly and couldn't do enough to help The situation of the hotel was good, with the bus stop right outside it was very convenient if you wanted a trip in to Rhodes Town. Having a private beach with free sunbeds was a bonus too. We couldn't praise this hotel enough and would recommend it to anyone.
