Rocha Brava Village Resort

We had a beauitiful twin bedroom villa with a balcony all mod cons and at the rear a small pool for refreshing yourself in the July hot temperature - the facilities on the site were second to none - we booked breakfast every day and it was substantial enough to set us up for the day ahead a mix of cooked and continental buffet - plenty of places on site for dinner or lunch and not that far from the wee town where by you can book a seat on a complimentary minibus to take you down and nice beaches below and easy to walk to some of them - not my first time here but was for my partner and he loved it also being in a villa meant we could go at our own pace

This hotel meets all that you could need, food,service and friendliness ar all of the highest standard from every member of the team. From the moment we arrived till we left all our needs were met by polite and extremely helpful staff. The dining room was well supplied at all times.

Stayed in a sea view 2 bed villa. The villa had everything we needed. Was comfortable, very clean and had a balcony and lawned area. The views from the balcony were simple breathtaking. Everyday we spent time on there soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet. Complex is large, has 4 swimming pools (one indoor) a small pool bar area, cafe bar, shop and restaurant. There is also a large tennis complex and a gym however we did not use this. Lovely location with coastal path walks accessible from the resort and the town was a short taxi journey away. We went to splash and slide for the day which we would recommend. Some low key entertainment on some evenings, singers and guitar player. Some restaurants close by. Restaurant to the right of the resort entrance was very nice. As is the Indian restaurant to the left. Would recommend and we would love to return

After reading mixed reviews I was a bit concerned. Need not have worried. The apartment was clean spacious well equipped and near the bottom quieter pool.it had 2 terraces and WiFi. Reception were helpful with booking trips etc. Lots of families that said they had been previous years which is a good sign. Beautiful maintained gardens

Arrived for a two week break on the 4 May 2019 looking forward to a peaceful break. I was previously advised by jet2 that a new private villa was being constructed on site so I was very surprised to realise that we had been allocated our two bed apartment only a hundred yards away from works especially as I had e-mailed the hotel and requested a quiet location. Prior to unpacking I walked back to reception (no phones in the apartments) and asked if there was anything else available, they flatly said no! Four days into our holiday the crane, digger and trucks were in full force and we were covered in Orange dust. I contacted jet2 and within minutes I was contacted and advised alternative accommodation would be provided. So we had to pack and up sickening was very annoying as this could have been completely avoided. The remainder of our holiday was in a sea view two bed villa. The Rocha Mar restaurant offers nice tasty food which is reasonably priced. Other local restaurants including the on site Rocha Brava restaurant were lovely too! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and didn't want to go home, my sister and I may even return next year and hope that building works are not happening again. Reception staff are very friendly and even Mrs stern face on reception said goodbye to us (you'll know who I mean when you meat her! This resort would be quite boring for kids I think which is good news for us. If they could offer adult only areas (for accommodation) and offer just one adult only pool, the lower one with the sea view, would be fabulous. On many occasions adults were chilling out, reading their books and snoozing only for kids to arrive with inflatables and all shell would break loose. People would leave and others would be really annoyed as families totally ignored signage which advised no jumping or diving is permitted. All in all a lovely peaceful place but with a few tweaks would be perfect.

Really nice relaxing holiday in a great venue with good weather. Good food locally and lots to do in the area. Friendly efficient staff at the venue and during our flight. Jet 2 staff very professional and willing to help.

Excellent apartment, beautiful gardens and lovely restaurants close by. If you are looking for night life, forget it. This place is lovely and peaceful. Plenty of walks, especially along the cliff tops where the views are magnificent.

A supposedly quiet holiday?!? Ruined by constant dogs barking which I recorded and disability issues which Jet2holidays promised to sort out but never replied after 2 promised callbacks. I am still waiting for Jet2holidays to get back to us after sending emails complaining about the dogs barking but nothing as yet.

This resort was in a perfect location for us away from it all. Rooms were clean and contained everything needed for a comfortable stay. Reception staff were warm and friendly and very thorough. Grounds are beautifully maintained and kept spotlessly clean. Supermarket on site was useful and held all the basics. Restaurant on site and some within walking distance. We will definately return to this resort as we had a wonderful stay.

Dirty apartment, cooker tripped the electric and we even had a flood in the apartment to list a few things!! It took a week for a rep to come and see us, not great customer service. We were offered a different apartment but it didn't have a bed for one of my children and was as dirty as the one we had. I would expect this from a two star but not a apparently 4 star. Sheets didn't fit the bed, the bathroom stunk of sewerage. It's a shame as the resort itself is pleasant enough. I have sent of the pictures and videos and have said jet2 will respond in 28 days!! What a joke

This was by far the best place we have stayed in a long time. Very relaxing atmosphere, everyone very friendly, would go again. The reception staff could not be more helpful. We enjoyed the fact that the villa was among trees in garden area

This is the 3rd time I have returned to this resort and it just keeps getting better and better. Beautiful gardens, spotlessly clean pools add to that a Gym, Tennis and 1st class restuarants and you could not find a better place in this stunning area of the Algarve,

Great accommodation well looked after and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the third time we have been here and it will not be our last. Rocha Brava is well situated with lovely restaurants close by and while it is about a 30 min walk to the centre of the resort a taxi is only a few euro and there is also a courtesy service 3 times a day. Extremely good facilities and beautiful gardens.
