Medplaya Hotel Regente

Found a plaster in food. Asked to speak to manager - not available. Didn’t eat in the restaurant then until our last day and on that occasion my baby wasn’t well and vomited all over the table, myself and floor. Not one staff member offered any assistance/go get something for me to clear it all up. Even a family on the table next to us had to move cause the sick all over was making their child feel nauseous. The place itself was clean: had a great breakfast selection, was put off eating there for a few days due to the plaster in food (waste of half board payment) and the attentiveness of staff was poor.

Visited in may , hotel been refurbished, looks very nice , from reception, rooms and bar all look lovely arrived on the Saturday about 11,45 am . Walked into reception we were recognised straight away by Juan , first visit in 3 years , we were given a lovely corner room overlooking the pool (which we emailed hotel in advance ) thank you , All staff from cleaners to restaurant to bar staff all very friendly , lovely to see some old faces Miguel , Saif , victor and Pedro remembered by them all , and lovely to meet new staff William and Marco , Nachos still doing entertainment he’s so funny our friends granddaughter loved him (lilyann says hello )😀 all the people in hotel were friendly we had an amazing holiday thank you regente we will be back x

Rooms Good Food Good Drinks Good Hotel in good position Entertainment OK was better before covid maybe get better when things pick up. Natxo mad as a box of frogs GREAT GUY you cant miss him. Overall must be good have booked to go again later in year.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times. The revamp makes the hotel light and airy. COVID has had an effect on the hotel. Food is very basic and entertainment is non existent compared to what it was. Hope it gets back to the way it was.

We came for a relaxing week to recharge our batteries....we made some great friends and enjoyed the hotels entertainment to the full....the entertainment manager ‘Nacho’ was awesome, so friendly, funny and extremely hardworking.... The hotel was clean, the food was great, all the staff were helpful and polite.... Couldn’t fault anything ( could do with a table tennis table ).... Booked up to come back in September....

Hotel looked great when you first walked in, rooms a bit dated could do with being updated, room Was always cold.walls are paper thin could hear people in next room having conversations and could hear the tv, staff on front desk very nice and helpful but staff in dining hall not very helpful or talkative, three of our party ended up with really bad stomachs due to the food, only 1 night the food was good the rest of the week not so good.

This was the second time I have stayed at this Hotel - Last visit was back in 2008 and it was looking jaded then. But there has been a vast improvement - The Hotel is very clean and bright.The food was of a very acceptable standard and the Bar Staff were very friendly.As I stayed all inclusive I was impressed with all aspects of my stay.

the hotel is situated not far from the center. The rooms are clean good choice of food and drinks. We stayed 9 nights all inclusive and thought it was good value for money. Pool area was a bit shaded in March but we used roof top terrace as pool is too cold at this time of year. Staff are very friendly . entertainment was poor. All in all it suited us for what we wanted.

Hotel room good cleaners did a very good job, like most of the staff very friendly. Food good always hot when neaded to be reasonable amount of choice as usual I ate to much. Bar and bar staff was very good. Entertainment was 1st class some of the best we have seen in a hotel. All in all a very good hotel. We would use this hotel again.

The Regente is s very friendly hotel, with clean rooms, great food and superb staff who can't do enough for you. The entertainment is good and quite varied and the bedrooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It's pretty conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Levante beach and the bus stop for Albir and Altea is a couple of minutes away from the hotel. This is the second time we've stayed at the Regente and will be booking back for next year.

Helpful reception staff , Resterant staff where really good and very helpful . rooms where cleaned and beds changed daily. easy to get to shops and 10 walk (slow) to levente beach , Chemist and medical walk in clinic. and great bus services into central Benidorm .

I have been 12 times to this hotel. would not go anywhere else. Food delicious, rooms spotless, staff all very friendly. Pool excellent and clean sunbeds good. Dining room superb, staff very helpful as always

hotel was very clean, rooms of a good size. we had a little sea view in 412. bed was a little hard for me. food was lovely with good choice. was about a 10-15 min strole to beach. nice indian restraint just down the road too.
