Hotel Villa Flamenca

The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and well tended, we had a pool view on the 3rd floor which was just fine for us.There is no charge for a safe in your room which we appreciated. Most of the guests were on a B&B holiday, this option was not available to us at the time of booking so we were on half board.The breakfasts were second to none lots of fresh fruit and even English back bacon. The evening meals were a disappointment, the buffet had been discontinued and we were offered a very limited a la carte menu in the pool bar, there was no atmosphere and very few other diners. The pool bar served food all day but again a very limited menu if you were there for 10 days.After 4 nights we ate out adding a considerable cost to our holiday. When the daytime catering is sorted this will be a very good B&B hotel..

Great hotel in quiet residential area of Nerja. Staff all brilliant, welcoming and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Only booked for breakfast and this was of very good quality with excellent variety and choice. You can book dinner at 18 euro's per person for 3 course menu which was also good value. Really enjoyed rooftop sun bathing with lovely sunbeds and so quiet & relaxing with whirlpool, everything white and spotlessly clean. Furnishings and maintenance within hotel of excellent standard, actually wondered why only 3 star and not more. Room comfortable with fresh towels and linen almost daily Great value Happy Hour which we enjoyed. Local taxi used at around 6-7 Euro's to get into main part of town where there were lots of lovely restaurants & shops. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel ad look forward to going back. This 3 star hotel punches way above its star number. The hotel is modern inside and out. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well equipped. There is a fridge and freesafe. The bathroom is fully tiled with a large walk in shower. The balcony’s are small with a table and 2chairs. The food at breakfast was delicious and there is a huge choice. The pool area is clean and each pair of sunbeds has their own table and umbrella. Plenty to go round. The bar has a range of cocktails and beers. Food at the pool bar is good and well presented. There is a rooftop terrace but I didn’t go there as the poolside was never crowded. There are no poolside games or loud music which is a nice change from other hotels that I have stayed at. There is no child pool or childrens facilities so I would say this hotel is for couples or people on their own. The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. I was sorry to leave. Will definitely go back. The hotel is about 5 minute walk to Birianna beach down a steep hill. The walk to the centre of Nerja is about 10 to 15 minutes.. This is about the same distance to the bus stop.

Hotel very clean, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The bar areas were very pleasant, and the Pool restaurant served a limited - but very tasty fayre. The Standard room was on the small side, but this was not an issue as we spent very little time in our room with the weather being so pleasant.

Staffed by charming people, central but quiet location, food very good, lovely facilities, sadly not warm enough to swim in the pool but tempting! Entertainment enjoyable at weekends. We enjoyed several evening meals in the restaurant with a daily varied menu.

Can't praise the hotel enough. We love it here and will definitely be back. Only slight niggle is the size of the rooms in the new building. Otherwise, lovely, clean hotel. Great staff. Food delicious and because they don't do lunch in the dining hall they allow for a late breakfast.

This small hotel is in a quiet, pretty location ,10 minute walk from the centre of Nerja. It has been very tastefully,newly refurbished and extended. The staff are a delight, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are excellent , evening meals are good with a range of choice. There are other nationalities staying in the hotel and it filled up at the weekends with Spanish people .There is a solarium and jacuzzi on the roof as well as an attractive pool with sunbeds and lovely pool bar at ground level, which is where any entertainment is held . There is also a Sauna and Hamam.(a charge). Happy hour from 4.30-5.30pm when groups of ex-pats and retired English people staying in the area for the winter come for a drink .It is very interesting talking and listening to them.Approx 5 minute walk to the bus station from where buses go to Almunecar, Torre del Mar , Malaga, Granada ,Frigiliana and there is also a local bus stop at the top of the road. The only negative aspect to the Villa Flamenca is the fact that it is not very suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to the fact that quite a lot of walking is involved to get anywhere, but, there are taxis of course. All in all a super gem of a hotel.

Had a great time in nerja great hotel in a quiet area the staff are always helpful and friendly hotel is very clean and the food was the best we have had when we have been away would definitely go to this hotel again steep hill down to beach but don't be put off by this used to get taxi back up

Hotel was amazing food fantastic staff fantastic always smiling and very helpful great place to visit beach close by with a very steep hill to climb snack bar with lots of variety good selection of wine evening entertainment very good

The hotel was fantastic. The staff where wonderful and could not help me enough when my husband suffered from sunburn. The male receptionist was excellent. The resturant staff were fantastic and supportive. I would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in a nice quiet area .the staff are really friendly and helpful the hotel as just been refurbished and they have done agood job .The room was nice and clean and the room was cleaned every day and clean towels provided every day .I. Would recommend this hotel as I can't fault it me and my daughter had a lovely week here and I would return again

Hotel was excellent and their website was not representative of the rooms and hotel and its facilities. Rooms were very comfortable with new shower facilities and brilliant shower, room also had flat screen TV. The dining room was well laid out with a very good range of food at breakfast and evening meal. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in and around the hotel. The pool area was good with no shortage of sun beds. Although the hotel was full subscribed, it never felt full and their was a laid back feeling to the pace which greatly enhanced our holiday.
