California Apartments

I have been going to these appointments for 8yrs now sometime twice a Yr appointments are spotless housekeeper regularly in to do beds and tidy up clean towels every day .....the restaurant is very good lots of choices we usually go full board and one of my party is ceoliac and the restaurant catters for her every meal head chef comes out and goes through what she can and can't have ...Nice quiet apartment hoter love the accommodation as we go in a group and at least with apartment you have sitting room and separate bedroom at same price as just a hoter room .....location fantastic for shops pubs and beach most importantly its on the flat ...at reception they will give you a kettle at no extra cost staff go over and beyond for us

I read many reviews prior to coming here and almost rang to change hotel.... I’m glad I didn’t!! I don’t know where some of the reviews come from! The hotel was better than expected. Reception area was modern clean and staff were helpful. The restaurant was very clean and staff friendly, food was warn and was varying choice of food. It was a little repetitive but always found something to eat even though I am fussy. Kids found it little harder to choose as apart from pizza every night the choice for them as they are fussy wasn’t great. The pool area is small but was ok for my 3 year old and 12 year old. Only thing here is that they don’t allow inflatables in the pool so the kids were little disappointed about this. The pool is cold but get used to it! The lifts are tiny! Can only fit about 3 people in! The rooms are a little dated but were clean as tidy. The “double bed” which a a sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest to say the least, but I managed to get some sleep. The 2 single beds were very comfy. The location is only about 10 minute walk from the beach. Lots of shops, bars and supermarket nearby. I would definitely come here again. Don’t be put off by other reviews!

Hotel clean and staff helpful .. Pool never in the sun apart from the odd corner!! Location very good to beach shops and bars restaurant's ..As a HB hotel we found the food basic and not much choice ...

two bedroom apartment was clean but very little in the way of crockery or utensils. Breakfast and dinner was pretty much the same everyday and of poor quality. Maintenance attended quickly to rectify our electricity cutting out most days but found it difficult to sort. Male receptionist was rude and didn't look like he wanted to be there.

When we arrived all of the plates and cutlery where dirty with traces of food from previous stayers at the hotel. Every morning the maid would knock and if we were in bed she would not come in and clean. She blaitently lied to our face and told us she changed our beds and i had to take the sheet off and literally show her sand in the sheets. Also the maid came in once whilst I was in the shower screamed because she opened the door Then look around the apartment shouting IMPOSSIBLE. This made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable as it was not dirty just because she were young We had cleaned up everyday ourselves with bleach we only needed fresh bedding and clean towels. The maid then left and didn't return until our last night there. The reception staff turned out to be very rude the more they were seeing us, We wasn't rude or disrespectful once again maybe it was because where young but we Treat everyone with the same respect. The overall experience I would not stay there again the maids were all very keen and willing to clean the reception areas however the bedrooms no attention at all.

We had a lovely holiday, food was good, staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were great. The pool was nice, with sunny and shaded areas. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.

A revamped lower floor and pool area was a nice surprise. I hope they start to move upwards as the rooms could do with updating. Comfortable apartment although the sun never reaches the balconies on the side facing the main road and the pool only caught it up the edges a certain times of day (there in September). The hotel is in a great position for shops, bars and beach, which is beautiful. The food was good and we could always find something to eat. We had a black out one night and were sent across the road to the sister hotel, what a bun fight, definitely wouldn't stay there We will return
