Hotel Galeon

Third visit to the apartments. This year the room was dated but they are getting upgraded. This by no means spoilt our holiday. Lovely staff and so helpful always pleasant. The location is brilliant and the restaurants and bars all an easy walk away. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Ole Galeon. The staff were absolutely lovely and the place was clean. There were masses of food choice. Coffee a bit mediocre. Lots of veggies and fresh fruit. Some food quite nice. We liked the gazpacho. Some foods over cooked. We had an upgraded room which had 4 single beds, very spacious and a balcony with fab view. Some of the beds more comfortable than others. Overall it was good value and we would return. Only complaint would be the music played at the pool.

Second time back at this hotel. Absolutely love it. Great views. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Must say a big shout out to the fantastic entertainment staff. Zero, Robby and Denissa. They definitely make your holiday. Laughs all day long with them. Highly recommend

Beautiful views,clean, excellent service, I'm a fussy eater but had no problems with the food at any mealtimes, morning omelettes made in front of you. Rooms cleaned every day,high standard,no towels on sunbeds ,plenty of them.Staff excellent and friendly

Great choice/selection of food/drinks and rooms are kept nice and clean. Great location and view from room was spectacular. Staff are lovely; always friendly and willing to help. Even better if TV had been wall mounted to remove obstruction to mirror and to give more space on dressing table, and if beds changed more frequently. All in all though a lovely relaxing holiday.

If the star rating was awarded for the fantastic views from the perfectly situated hotel I would agree with 4 stars, however for the overall hotel experience I don't agree with the star rating. Rooms were basically very clean due to the hard working cleaners but are looking shabby, decor plain, bathroom facilities old and worn and dreadful smell of drains in our room after using bath/ shower or wash basin. Pillows very uncomfortable, air con noisy and a fridge would have been nice. Staff in dining room not always pleasant we arrived late as dinner had 10 mins left to run and were told by 5 members of staff they were closing even though reception had said we were fine to go through! Not the best start considering check in had taken almost half an hour due to high volume of people checking in and only one receptionist! Variety of food massive but not always suitable to our taste, however I accept that is personal choice. Car parking also a nightmare if you have a hire car.

We stayed at the beginning of August for what was meant to be a relaxing holiday with my family and grandchildren. We spent a lot of time planning researching before deciding on this hotel. We spent a lot of money only to arrive to be very disappointed. The hotel is definately not a four star and the rooms and pool are very tired and dated. The hotel is in definately needs a refurbishment and we have found out since coming home that this is what's is happening which doesn't help us after spending a lot of money on a holiday that is not what you see in the brochure. That said the location was amazing and the staff were very polite and friendly.

Had a wonderful week staying here in Aug , hotel spotless,staff very helpful and friendly, food & drinks absolutely fantastic for me and 12 & 14 year old lads!! Entertainment staff were brilliant. Pool was very clean - beach is only 5 mins away too.

We wanted to see Ibiza but without the noise and hoards, and this was perfect non busy quite bay/cove. Hotel location has the perfect view and in the sun all day. The hotel was great, there are a few areas that need attention and show there age eg carpet wear in corridors, that said, that is my only negative. Food choice was great, the quality was good especially the fresh meats, fish and pastas cooked on request. The staff are so friendly and helpful whether that be cleaners, waiter, bar staff or reception they certainly deserve credit for making the holiday so enjoyable.

The hotel has one of the most beautiful locations we have visited. The staff are friendly and helpful and help to make the holiday even better. We were all inclusive, and the choice and quality of the food on offer was very good. I would recommend going all inclusive, as there are very few restaurants nearby, my only issue was the choice of wines for A/I came out of taps with no choice, unless you bought wine. The rooms are small but comfortable with exceptional views. I would probably holiday here again.

We had a lovely week away in Ibiza in June 2017. The hotel was very nice and the staff were all very helpful and friendly! Special mention goes to Will and Amauri, with the animation team. Their enthusiasm and friendliness made the holiday truly fantastic! My only negative point from the whole holiday would be that we didn't manage to sleep that well every night. It seemed that no matter what time we tried to head to bed, there was always furniture etc being moved around as rooms were being cleaned... this did disturb us quite a lot! And the rooms themselves were quite small!

Tiny very dated and not very clean rooms, had to pay extra in order to get a room where you could actually walk around the bed, linen and towels desperately need replacing- dust and debri still on floor seven days after arrival!!! Lots of insects in room all of the time, air conditioning out of the Ark and not very affective.

We arrived to a glass of cava which was lovely after a long day of travelling and Lola the receptionist checked us in which was great and we had a lovely sea view room. Now a few days into the holiday after talking to others we found out you could get a fridge if you asked and also a free bottle of water per day. Lola did not tell us this. Our room was on the second floor which is under the bar, so when we had a few early nights getting to sleep was a struggle. The views are just amazing and so pretty. The food in the restaurant was amazing and I am a vegetarian and there was always different things to eat and try. The pool and bar areas were lovely, always well cleaned and there was enough space for everyone who wanted to go there. The majority of the staff have been amazing, in particular John at the bar (3rd floor) who was hilarious, friendly and always remembered our drink order and bought it over without us asking which was brilliant service. Also the animation team were brilliant - particularly Amuary. I hope you could pass this on to the management etc. The lifts are a nightmare! They are very small and slow so I'd recommend taking the stairs if you're able to which we did with our cases on our departure. Another issue was when we were checking out, which we did before 12. We we're told we would have to have our wristbands cut off so we wouldn't be able to have lunch. They knew we weren't due to be picked up until 3:40pm and that we had booked a courtesy room (which is a great feature) so this wasn't on. We felt upset by this as we thought a weeks all inclusive would be from when you got there which in our case was 8pm. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would like to return in the future and highly recommend it.
