Get in on the Six Nations action

Set your sights on the Six Nations in 2020! As well as a quintet of other locations, the massive rugby union tournament will be taking centre stage in Rome, with major international teams battling it out to knock the current champions off the top spot.

Want to be right in the middle of it all? Book a weekender to Rome with Jet2CityBreaks and mix matches with sightseeing in one incredible place. There’s a fantastic choice of hotels in prime locations across the Italian capital, too. Plus, to make things even easier, we’ll roll your return flights and 22kg baggage into your booking!

Location

The Six Nations matches in Rome during the 2020 tournament will take place at Stadio Olimpico, about 4km from the epic Vatican City. With the River Tiber on one side and a nature reserve on the other, it sits within a sports complex surrounded by great sights.

Fixtures

The reigning champions of 2019 were Wales, who hadn’t scooped the title since back in 2013. While in Rome, cheer on your team with Italy vs Scotland on 22 February and Italy vs England on 14 March.

Transport

Public transport or taxis are good options. Use tram line 2 from Flaminio metro stop, which goes past Villa Borghese and stops at Mancini. You could also take bus 32 north of the Vatican and stop at Ottaviano or bus 280 from near the Castel Sant’Angelo.
