Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

This trip was a mixture of our honeymoon and a babymoon as I’m currently 6 months pregnant and this holiday was well needed! From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing! They took our luggage ready to take up-to our room and then got us a welcome drink and then showed us around the hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated with shades of blue and had an amazing balcony in the bar that overlooked the sea. The restaurant was lovely, clean and stylish and had plenty of options in the buffet breakfast and we also had tea there one night, the Italian night, food was delicious, just the food and drinks were a little on the expensive side, but worth it! We also visited the poolside bar for lunch one day. All the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Only issue was sometimes they were a little slow with resetting the breakfast table after previous guests. The room was spacious, very clean and comfy. The bed was huge and super comfy! But I found the duvet a little hot, a sheet might’ve been better. We had a sea view room, which was beautiful to look out at. However, the aircon could only be set at 20 degrees and I found the room could get warm during the night. The cleaners came in everyday and were very friendly. There’s also a mini fridge in the room, although the drinks were expensive! The pool was great! Wasn’t that hard to get a sunbed either, but it was useful to go down before breakfast to put your towel on as they went fast! We didn’t try the spa as I’m pregnant, but it looked lovely! There’s also an area to get into the sea that’s attached to the pool area. There’s also a lovely pebble cove nearby where you can go in the sea. It’s just a 15-20 min walk into the Old Town and about a £4 taxi ride via Uber if you fancy a lift back as the walk is a little strenuous (hills, narrow paths). Overall a fantastic experience in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting! A fantastic holiday with outstanding staff and facilities! A little slice of luxury!
