Such a wonderful hotel with great views, friendly staff, clean as clean can be, good food and great entertainment! Red velvet night was brilliant. The entertainers were so friendly and when it came to Aqua aerobics went above and beyond to get people moving and encouraging all types and ages to join in and they made it so fun.

Hotel recently upgraded. Room was very good, we upgraded to a family room. Food was good as was the service in the restaurant. Glad we chose, for a change, half board as the apartments wrere getting very poor reviews from tourists at the resort. Signage needs improving as does the reception personnel, especially their friendliness. The prices of everything at the bars were high and many were closed at times of the day outside the food serving times. Layout of the resort was fragmented. Not disabled friendly at all as lots of steps. The marketing was seriously disjointed and not synchronised to the offer. The evenings were desperately quiet, mainly due to the bar prices. Entertainment was usually another cost on top of the holiday, which I believe is at odds with the 4 star offer. No glasses on the table during dining unless you purchased, even for water! The lack of an atmosphere was simply down to the pricing structure in place. It appears the resort doesn't know what it is. The price increase over the past year appears to be very high. I make this comment fron talking to both guests who have used the resort and local people.Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient, the remainder were slightly surly and uncommunicative and occasionally unhelpful.

I stayed at port 9 for 7 nights at the beginning of october...everything about the holiday was great from the location to the hotel.Yes the transfer was long..roughly 3 hours but wow...it was certainly worth it...the location of the hotel is perfect with stunning views of the scenery and sea..there were trips i could have went on to various other islands or to dubrovnik or wine tasting but in all honestly i was happy sunbathing in one of the many coves near the hotel or taking a walk into korcula.I went half board and was more than satisfied with the quality of the food on offer ranging from cereals,fruit,continental or cooked breakfast and evening meals the choices were so varied from pork,chicken,fish,pasta,salads,soup and lovely little desserts to choose from.The staff were all friendly and helpful,my room was ideal , clean on arrival and was cleaned each day.There is also a supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel which is ideal for those self catering.Although the hotel and korcula may not be for everyone,anyone who is looking for a relaxing peaceful non tourist holiday this is definitely a place to consider.I dearly hope to return one day to this hotel on such an idyllic island...wonderful memories of a lovely stay
