Cycling in the Costa Del Sol & Costa Tropical

These regions of sunny Spain stay hot throughout the year and promise jaw-dropping views of various different natural sites. The beauty of the Costa Del Sol and Costa Tropical spans coastal paths and mountainous routes, with idyllic towns and resorts on hand after a day on the open road. They’re great areas for biking newbies and pros alike.

The coasts with the most

Boasting over 300 yearly sunshine days, these costas have it all. They’ve also got bragging rights to a mix of terrain and quiet roads. You’ll find each of the resorts also has a relaxed pace of life, with low-key shops and eateries to show off.

Rewarding routes

Marbella is not only a plush playground for the rich and famous, it’s fab for cyclists, too. Malaga and Granada are another two biking heavyweights, where you can combine sea views with town centre stop-offs. As for Nerja, the routes don’t get much dreamier.

From saddle to city

If you’re wanting to get around the region when you’re not cycling, your best bet for big-time exploration is the sun-blushed city of Malaga. Base your to-do list on the art galleries, chic boutiques and tapas bars dotted around the centre.
