Helios Bay Hotel & Apartments

Excellent run family hotel lovely staff nice owners nothing too much trouble second time here and will certainly be coming back super location right between paphos and coral bay rooms are some of the biggest I have seen

Just had a wonderful stay at the Helios Bay. Apartment was very spacious and the staff were incredibly friendly. Would recommend staying here. Very clean - a little basic but you have everything you need.

We had a fabulous family holiday here in one of the 2 bedroom villas, which are a one minute walk from the main hotel complex. We mostly ate out or cooked for ourselves but on the occasions we had breakfast at the hotel, the food was good. The hotel is on the road between Paphos and Coral Bay, away from the hussle and hussle, but easy to reach both by bus as the bus stop is, conveniently, right outside the hotel. This suited us perfectly as we prefer a quieter holiday. Plus the local beach and restaurants were good too. The view from the villa was stunning! Our only slight criticism was that we would have liked more information in the villa about how things worked, e.g. the oven (which was quite high tech!), where the hot water switch was, etc. Having said that, when we did struggle with the oven, the staff came and helped us with it very promptly.

Arrived around 1am and greated by night reception who was nice. Showed to our sea view garden studio. Taken down the ramp by the side of the pool which looked lovely at night, through a corridor. Little bit worried as looked dingy in the evening light and needed a lick of paint. Room was fab. Straight to bed in comfy beds with lovely pillows and the free air con on. The morning showed the hotel as it really is. Spotlessly clean and well cared for. Pool lovely, no fighting for sun beds and loads of sun shades. Great pool bar with basic but lovely food and good beer/cocktails. All staff are fantastic and Nicos os lovely and really helpful. We hired a car through the hotel which was great value and easily sorted. Some restsurants within walking distsnce but quite a way to Paphos town and harbour and Coral Bay. We like to explore so we didn't mind. Great holiday and recommemded. The studios are being refurbished soon and the only thing i'd suggest is doing something with the corridor to the garden studios. Could do with having new flooring, lick of paint, better lighting and some pictures on the wall. All in all great. I'd go again

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, great location with amazing views, food all very nice but the breakfast was a a bit cold for my liking but.. just cross the road and get on the bus €1.50 each way or day pass €5 and go where ever you like. Great Indian across the road also very very tasty.
