Princessa Vera Hotel Apartments

Rooms were lovely you can’t fault them . Nice and clean and stylish with lots of space . Staff were lovely too . There’s only one problem with these apartments and that’s the pool area…. Sunbeds broken, pool fountains never on, bar never stocked , the pool is missing an atmosphere. No music which is boring , no ice creams , no pool side food . This needs changing

We were redirected here after our chosen accommodation failed to open in time for the Spring season. Our own choice was a self catering holiday as I require a gluten free diet and find it difficult eating out. Breakfast was included, but no dietary information was given with the buffet, and staff were so few and harassed that no advice was asked for ( or offered despite my bringing my own bread every morning). Tables were left stacked with dirty dishes. Our studio apartment was modern and had a lovely view overlooking the sea, but was very small and not suitable for preparing any food other than a snack and cup of tea. We had to insist on fresh towels every day as the shower door didn’t meet the bath, so flooding was inevitable and we had to use the towels to mop the floor. Our bed linen was changed once during our fortnight stay. Girls at reception were pleasant. Hotel is in a great position for the whole of Paphos. Plenty restaurants nearby, harbour a ten minute walk by road or a twenty minute walk round coastal path. We enjoyed our holiday to Paphos, but prefer our accommodation to reflect something of the country.

Lovely hotel, staff mostly all very friendly/helpful. Clean, good sized rooms, good facilities, location is great. Downsides: Breakfast is varied but not the best quality and it all feels a bit rushed (like a fast food chain but buffet style!). It's ok though - definitely not 'bad', or close to it.Room AC is a bit rubbish. Well, it's just really rubbish actually. Unless you want to sit directly under it, it does Nothing for actually cooling things in a comfortable way.

The rooms and cleanliness were adequate, but unfortunately the staff were unfriendly and miserable. The hotel appeared to be Russian owned, managed and staffed, so it wasn't surprising that the staff were short and uncourteous when addressing visiting families. The food was awful - we tried to eat a couple of times but just gave up as the food was consistently poor. The dining area was also not big enough to support the number of people staying at the hotel. My advice do not book this hotel as you are sure to be disappointed.

Very good hotel. Situated on a main road but not areal issue, try and obtain a room at the back of the hotel,ours had distant sea views. Room wea very clean ,well serviced. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would have preferred the TV in the lounge rather than the bedroom. Some good restaurants close by but main restaurants and bars situated around the small harbour which was about a 15 minute walk away. Harley's bar which is located within the hotel is very good and had a happy hour every night from 9-11pm which made the drinks excellent value.

Great hotel in a great location close to harbour, pubs and restaurants. Hotel was really clean and smart. Shame about flight home, was soaked with dirty water dripping from the the ceiling of the plane for around an hour so was many other holiday makers. Jet2 holidays didn't seem to particularly care when I reported this when arriving back from my holiday. Won't be using this company again!

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are great, very spacious with decent air con, a small kitchenette with fridge, and comfortable beds. Attached to the front of the hotel is a good bar called Harley's. Seemed to get fairly busy any time up to midnight, plenty of big TV's for watching sport and they had a 1/2 price happy hour drinks some nights from 7pm-10pm. There are a lot of roadworks ongoing out the front of the hotel on the main road at the minute (tomb of the kings road). Will be great when finished but walking along the road can be a bit of a pain especially when trying to cross. Location wise hotel is well placed. Bus stops directly outside in both directions (either to the harbour or coral bay) Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the air-conditioned shopping mall is about 10 mins walk away. Harbour is about 20 mins walk away, where most of the nightlife is based. Lots of bars and restaurants. And if you fancy a late night the 'bar street' is just set back the harbour. Lots of late bars and clubs blasting music out and offering cheap drinks. Great for a relaxing holiday round the pool & beach, with plenty of options for eating out on a night. And if you fancy something a bit livelier later on, head to bar street.

Nice, clean hotel with modern decor. We stayed B & B, hotel mainly caters for the Russian market. I`ve marked the location down because of the roadworks (which we were told by the in resort Jet2 team were completed). Not the hotels fault really. Overall a nice hotel, pool area was nice and there were no issues with sunbed availability.
