Celebrate culinary treasures
If you’re a foodie, you’re in luck. Pag Town is home to some of Croatia’s most delicious fare – wine and cheese. Visit neighbouring Kolan where the famous paški sir, or Pag cheese, is made. Or head to one of the wine and cheese bars dotted around Pag Town.
Lost in lace
Get a feel for the island’s history when you learn about the trademark Pag lace. Pay a visit to the Pag Lace Gallery in the spectacular restored Ducal Palace. Alternatively, as you wander the town’s streets, keep an eye out for local women outside their homes working the delicate lace.
Not far from Pag Town, the buzz of the bars and nightclubs in Novalja makes it one of the most popular destinations for partygoers. So, if you fancy some nightlife on Pag Island, get set to enjoy shorefront parties until sunrise on the iconic Zrće Beach.
