Nea Skioni

Nea Skioni holidays

Perfectly positioned on the western shore of Halkidiki’s Kassandra peninsula, Nea Skioni is an oasis of swishing palms and story-book charm. This vibrant little village has more than a hundred years of history behind it, with whitewashed buildings and a gorgeous harbour, backed by clusters of luscious greenery.

Historic charm

At 100 years old, it’s no wonder Nea Skioni’s got so much character. Named after the nearby ancient city of Scione that dates all the way back to 700 BC, this pretty little place is just brimming with quaint little treasures. The beautiful Agios Nikolaos church is just one of them.

Village hopping

You’re ideally positioned for a spot of village hopping here in Nea Skioni, with the tourist town of Chaniotis just 9km away. Here you’ll find a lovely selection of little souvenir shops, as well as a handful of restaurants where you can tuck into some local cuisine.
