Miles of golden coastline
There are 17 beaches along Sitges’ coast, and they’re some of the best in the region. You’ll find sporty stretches with volleyball and water sports, as well as quieter coves and nudist beaches. They have golden sand and calm waters in common, and they’re mostly knitted together with a quiet, cobbled promenade.
Strut down the Street of Sin – Carrer del Pecat – one of the coolest nightspots on the Med. It’s lined with sleek cocktail bars and clubs attracting a crowd of hip young things. There’s a big nightlife scene here, plus an annual Gay Pride event lighting up the town every June.
Culture and carnivals
You can browse quirky art galleries and antique shops around the narrow, cobbled streets behind the waterfront. In the town square nearby, there are often live bands and musical events going on. But they’re just a warm up – during February and March, the town shimmies and shakes its way through vibrant carnivals.
