MarBella Corfu

In need of a break and to be looked after whilst entertaining the children we booked Marbella Corfu with friends and their children for a ‘fly and flop’ experience. That is exactly what we got. From the smooth transfer, super friendly and attentive staff everything about this stay was on point. We left happy and relaxed.

great hotel, excepionally clean,the staff were very very good, nothing was too much trouble,the food was superb,more chioce than i have had in most other hotels.the room had a sea view which was perfect just what we wanted.the only downside for me was the beach, it was a pebble beach.there was a section that had been made into platforms where most of the sun beds were,this was covered in sand.all in all it was a great holiday and i would recomend it to anyone

An excellent hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Changed our room with no quibbles as we didn't have a good view of the sea. Stayed in the Chole block which was ideal for us. This family room was nice but the bathroom was a little small. The hotel has lots of steps and is spread out over a large area so maybe not ideal if you have a problem with steps/walking. The food in the main buffet restaurant was plentiful and varied and a good place to eat if you have children. We were there in August and never had a problem getting a sunbed. The beach is lovely. You will need a car as there is no town nearby but there is a bus to Corfu town which picks you up right outside the hotel.

From the start to the finish of our holiday this Hotel did not disappoint. Excellent all round facility. This Hotel must be considered when visiting Corfu. The staff must be congratulated on all their hard work.

Lovely hotel would return back. Views great and cleanliness fantastic. Breakfast not perfect but evening meal and lunch good. It would be good to have one heated pool especially for the children. Staff very friendly and helpful. The on site shop could have better stock for children as choice was limited. It is also an expensive shop. Hotel is quite a distance from corfu Town and buses are not very regulate

We visited the Marbella the second week in September with my husband and my parents. This was the second time that we had visited and I must admit that having had such a fabulous holiday there the first time, I was a little worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. I need not have worried! Once again we had a fantastic holiday. It was a lovely touch having a letter from the hotel welcoming us back and an upgrade to a whirl pool bath in the room was great. The staff were wonderful, very helpful with my dad who struggles with mobility - giving him a lift to the beach and back in the club car. Food, entertainment, cleanliness - everything in fact was brilliant, we could not find anything wanting. Thank you, we will return.

Amazing hotel, food and views all around top resort with first class staff. Hotel has a nice mix of restaurants and we would strongly recommend you go as all inclusive because the drinks on site are pricey but if your all inclusive you can't go wrong there.

Travelling as a family of 2 adults and 1 child (11years )we had a great week relaxing at the MarBella .We arrived late evening check in was speedy our room number was 418 this is a seaview superior room large double bed and a sofa bed all perfectly adequate , on arrival in our room a delicious plate of mixed sandwiches and wraps were waiting for us ..a very nice touch . The breakfast Buffett offers a fabulous selection all the usual treats with tea and coffee (lattes and capacunios ) served at your table ..at the hight of season it is busy and ques did form to gain entrance to the buffet but the lovely lady who greeted you each day seemed to move you on and allocate tables quickly ..evening buffet is also very good and well varied but for us the reall advantage of this property is the 3 visits to the table service restaurants ..Italian , Greek and Splash (Tex Mex) ..we loved the Greek and Italian not a fan of Splash food was good but just felt too casual ..maybe need to rethink this for evening a la carte dining . Service on a whole is great , we had trouble a couple of nights where our drink order was taken but never materialised ....Quality of drinks is good some of the mixes tasted a bit odd and a great choice of cocktails .. Overall we had a great time our son made some lovely friends of all nationalities and particularly enjoyed the table tennis tournaments and the football academy (I wasn't aware of this until we got there but easy to book on ) We would definitely return to this property and we would highly recommend ..just be realistic during the hight of season.

Really good hotel with excellent facilities, would highly recommend. The pools are good and the restaurant and bar facilities are excellent. It is on quite a steep sight so for people with mobility problems this could cause difficulties but apart from that it is a very well run hotel with fantastic staff.

Absolutely fab holiday, drinks a bit pricey at this hotel, but overall a fantastic week, people really friendly, couldn't do enough for us, beach bar was lovely food really good, although we didn't try the evening beach restaurant

If during the rest of my travelling days the Hotels come up to this amazing standard I will be truly happy. The food especially the al a carte dining are wonderful. The staff are great. The Animation Team work hard all day long to encourage the guests to join in the games and are probably the best team I have seen.

fantastic hotel ,rooms were amazing ,every thing a holiday needs ,the only down side was the service at breakfast we had to catch the waiter or waitress eye for our coffee, they would take plates away when you had not finished what was on your plate The food was always warm never piping hot. One evening I found a massive hair in my food which I had to remove from my mouth ,we called over a young waitress to report this , and gave her the item in a napkin which she in return reported this to the head of waiter ,who took it away ,I was not happy in the least that he never came over to apologize or to acknowledge what had happened just totally ignored the complaint.other than that it was a fantastic holiday

I'm going to start by saying the staff are lovely, if a bit harried. Friendly and happy to help. And the views are to die for. Amazing and constantly changing as the light changes over the Greek mountains. The pools are nice, as is the beach (which is pebbly but I wasn't trying to make sand castles), and there's loads of loungers for sun bathing. But, hotel is a bit worn, at least some of the rooms, so it doesn't look like a 5 star place. The paint under the door handles was a bit grubby, the tile grout a bit stained, the sink leaked, the safe didn't have a way to use it, the balcony rail was cracked. All little things but made the place seem worn. The location is beautiful, but fairly isolated. There's not much else near by, which is fine if you just want to sunbathe, but makes shopping for souvenirs of things you might have forgotten tough. But, there's a daily bus that comes up to the reception to get you to Corfu town, so it's not the end of the world. The food was the biggest disappointment. The salads, olives and cold cuts were excellent. But the hot food just felt like the sort of mass catering you'd get in a works canteen. Not bad, but not great either. Things that shouldn't be left to sit on hotplates (like deep fried squid) were served a lot, and a lot of the rest of it was that sort of bland 'international cuisine'. I would have loved to have had more Greek food done well, than trying to cater to all tastes. The a la carte restaurants were okay, better at lunch than in the evening to be frank. The food isn't bad, just not much of a selection and no wine by the glass available in the all inclusive. I didn't want a full bottle. Just silly things that could so easily be made a million times better. Oh, and watch out for the menus showing what is included and what not. The same symbol is used for included and not included in the all inclusive on different menus. Very confusing.
