Superior room with balcony top floor premium rate paid for this but we had top floor so downstairs had the beds what was the point, not very good so did t bother thank goodness we were only bed and breakfast drinks over priced still served in a plastic cup even though we were paying full price

this year as a treat for our 25th wedding anniversary we decided to go five star all bells and whistles however also wanted the all inclusive option too, we upgraded to a beach front bungalow with a shared private pool...this is a must was amazing to wake every morning looking at the sea, there are however ground floor and first floor bungalows the ground floor bungalows you walked out onto your verandah and straight to the pool but the view was of the pool mainly and the sea, the first floor ones you had to walk round to the front to access the pool we didnt mind this as the view and the ability to leave the patio door open at night and listen to the ocean while still feeling safe was the best option for us. Now i mentioned all inclusive option and we all know what this means usually school dinners ...while you can never get away from the mass served food thing the quality for all inclusive was brilliant, i had to mention but a few....Whole sea bass, sea bream, duck, calamari, sushi and all cooked perfectly (not for my wife who likes hers cooked well done) however the standard for all inclusive was very very good i only had one issue...the place was spotless everything cleaned and being cleaned at all times however at breakfast if you were served coffee by the waitresses/ers and we tried three different areas, you got your milk in a silver jug and on the three occasions our jug was dirty having obviously old milk encrusted round the top of the jugs...odd in such a spotlessly clean place did i complain ..no should i ..yes instead i just made my own coffee (wimp) ......the staff were all very very welcoming and polite as the Greek are oft to be, probably the best place we have stayed in and so vast however the feeling that the place was full and teeming with people was never there there were around 1900 rooms all full with at least 2 people so a minimum of 3800 people there but where ...WHERE WAS EVERYONE so much to do and so many places to do them that the place seemed not at all full there is a full water sports package available at the beach should you wish which is a little on the expensive side but no dearer than other places on the island, and deals available for bulk buying. there are three a la carte restaurants all very good the best of which for me was the Fontana Amorosa where we had a stunning meal and at last a decent bottle of wine (cretans not known for their wine making) the evening entertainment in the ampitheatre was a little cheesey.

A bad start. Arrived late and taken to our room only to find it was not the family room we had booked but a small room (which the hotel later claimed was an upgrade) where 2 boys were expected to share a sofa bed. The hotel did not advise us in advance of this and were forced to waste 2 days of our holiday complaining in order to get our correct room. Once there, the room AC was faulty. No apologies were given and we had to rely on the local Jet2 rep to negotiate on our behalf. This resulted in us being given "VIP service", which mainly meant we could checkout at 5pm instead of midday. Otherwise, staff were friendly. Clean & tidy resort with plenty of pools. However, smoking was rife - even around children. Laws are obviously being ignored. Restaurants were variable but mainly good.

Staff are excellent in this hotel friendly welcoming and can not do enough to help you. We had a wonderful holiday. The restaurant choices were great with good quality and great choice of food. Room was lovely and clean.

Over all hotel good but could be so much better , rooms are clean and tidy , food was the same every night we had to go out and eat a few times as the same boring food was on Hotel nothing around it so you need to get a taxi in to town Pool is salt water so the kids were all burnt and eyes were all ways stinging from the salt We went VIP sea front room and glad we did it was lovely having your own pool as we didn't have to get up really early to fight over sun beds This hotel could be amazing , but needs a lot of work scruffy in pool things hanging off tiles etc just a bit if T.L.C is needed to make this a beautiful hotel

My sister neice and I had a week stay on 17/7/2016 This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We are well travelled and always choose our hotels carefully so, we were more than delighted as this hotel ticks more than all the boxes ! The friendliness of staff The hotel layout The food and cleanliness were in my opinion above average We stayed in the vip sea view rooms and that met all our needs with our on private shared pool right next to the beach bar but could join in on the fun at the other pools The restaurants we booked for dinner was amazing The Fontana then the Taverna service and food was like dining out at top restaurants, however I can say that the main buffet restaurant was amazing it was very well organised with such an amazing selection of food that was to die for I have gained a few pounds but well worth it. My niece thought the wifi was poor but apart from that everything else was excellent for us !!! Definitely recommend and would return in a minute to this fabulous hotel The staff were always helpful and in particular our beach bar staff Rula and Mark and Paula in the main bar in the evening and even the head chef couldn't do enough for us explaining the assortment of food themes . We loved this hotel and layout it was amazing !!!

My husband and I have just got back from Crete and stayed at this lovely hotel on half board basis. . This was our first holiday to Greece and we are very happy choosing this destination. We had always travelled with Thomson Holidays but after reading the reviews on Jet2 holidays we decided to book through them. from the first checking in from Manchester Airport to returning home everything went well . we choose seats with extra leg room which was very good and the service was excellent. On arrival at the hotel we were met by friendly staff and we were booked in very quick and our luggages were taken to our room. we choose a sea view room and it was lovely and clean. room cleaning service was very good and it was cleaned daily. The gardens were beautifully kept and everywhere was spotless. The food was always fresh and nice and plenty . The entertainment was not much but we didn't mind that as I had hired a car and we went out from the hotel most evenings . There are a lot of car hire companies when you get there but reading through the reviews I booked a car to be delivered free of charge to our hotel the day after arriving with Anna Car hire . A good professional company. It was a new car and everything is included in the price they quote you on line, so no hidden extras. All I could say please do not be put off by some negative reviews, the location, the hotel ,the service, everything is excellent. The hotel chain should be very proud of all its staff and management ,in particularly its Chef and restaurant manager. The chef would often come out and check everything was in order and that showed how they cared about the service they were providing. we are looking forward to going back again next year.

Everything taken into consideration, the food, location, entertainment for both children and adults, a superb hotel. Nothing too much for the staff. The only downside would be that should anyone with difficulty with stairs, there appeared to be no ramps and there was no lift. However, that apart, disabled people to whom we spoke said the staff ensured their needs were met. We will definitely be back

As the titles says. .The entertainment staff were exceptional, friendly and really hard working. Only small thing I would like to see improve would be the quality of the all inclusive wine and beer but that's such a small part of the whole experience. Definitely recommend

A great holiday. There was a slight misunderstanding regards the room when we arrived late at night. However the lady on the desk next morning took the time to listen to my complaint and couldn't have been nicer and couldn't have done more.(I wish I could remember her name). Really lovely people who work hard to please their guests. Food was excellent.

Good range of food each meal but not much variety over the 7 days. 'Special' restaurants weren't very special. Greek taverna menu was pasta, sea bream and strawberry cheesecake. Sprawling hotel over large area with evening entertainment a little detached. Can't comment on animation team, I neither made effort to look for them or did they ever speak to me. Bar, restaurant and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful, management aloof and distant. Only spoke to them occasionally but they just grunted back and barked something in Greek to staff who happily helped me. Rooms large clean tidy with excellent (for Greece) plumbing. Well serviced. Self service drinks in restaurant and beach bar which was I liked, but don't expect to be pampered. Loads of sunbeds, large deep clean pools which were rarely used when I was there. Beach was mostly shingle though. Reception helpful, although tend to put you through to different people before helping you. Good games rooms for kids & 4 pool tables. There appeared to be good kids facilities. Overall a great holiday & I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

On the whole the hotel and its grounds were very nice. The staff were courteous and helpful and the rooms spacious and clean. The food was good but not especially so, and we did have an issue with the toaster which was broken with no available back up for five of the seven days we stayed.
