We stayed at the hotel for a week in August this year as 2 couples. The hotel set on the cliffs with a wonderful terrace overlooking the beautiful sea water pool which I would highly recommend. There is also access via a private lift down to the sea and a jetty overlooking the water right next to the port which is busy. We swam in the sea once during our visit but I must admit I preferred swimming in the pool as it’s less contaminated with fuel from the many boats going in and out of the port.. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and although our room was a little bit dated we slept very well on the beds provided. Our room was in the hotel itself and was perfectly fine. The other couple in our party had a room in the Annex part of the hotel and they did have significant problems with their bed in fact it actually collapsed. The food is served at the hotel and we were on half board was very very good. Plenty of variety all fresh ingredients beautifully cooked, and they even catered very thoughtfully for my daughter-in-law who has gluten intolerance issues.. But the best part of our trip was undoubtedly the splendid staff. They were all extremely polite and thoughtful and courteous in the treatment of visitors. We would certainly return to this hotel is only just seen them again. It is a bit of a hike from the hotel into the main square of Sorrento so anyone who has mobility issues I would not suggest this hotel was the easiest positioned That being said access to the bus station was immediately opposite the hotel and it was a very quick walk down to the port for boat excursions.

Nothing was too much trouble. The entire experience was fabulous. Very clean, food was delicious, room with a sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a bit of a glitch at the start but was very soon rectified. Highly recommend this hotel

We stayed at the Europa Palace in May, it was the Best! The location was great, cliff top, central but quiet. The staff are fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We had a sea view room with one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The Hotel is Grand in every way, it’s from another era and it was everything we hoped it would be. Food, I booked half board thinking we would occasionally eat out, but we didn’t, not in the evening anyway. There was plenty of choice and it was delicious. We are definitely hoping to return.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. After an initial issue with our room we were moved to an absolutely beautiful suite. The management and staff are very professional and provide a calm, tranquil and friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.The terrace where breakfast is served has stunning views across the bay of Naples and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. Perfectly located for all activities. Plenty of sunbeds available and all areas clean and well maintained.We slept really well all week and had no noise disturbance during the night.Although we did not eat in the hotel in the evening we heard very good reviews from other guests. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will be returning !!! Tip; book a sea view room Tip for the hotel; Have teacups on the table and provide tea pots, rather than returning for individual cups of tea

The Europa Palace grand hotel has one of the most outstanding views I have ever seen across the water to mount Vesuvius the hotel is excellent the staff are wonderful and hard working .the bedrooms are comfortable.the balcony are a little small .but the food is to die for especially the local caught fish I would very much recommend it.the meatballs and various pastsa dishes are all presented with passion and love .the desserts cannot be beaten.live the dream and enjoy your stay.

amazing great views close to main town rooms set in the cliff looking out at the harboure nice swimming pool just a bit of a treck to get to not good for elderly or disabled there is a pier to sunbathe and swim

Perfect location . Superb views of the bay of Naples. Hotel could do with a touch up here and there but was very clean and tidy and the hotel staff were so helpful and friendly . Would definitely revisit

Just returned from ten nights in the Europa Palace, a very fine establishment. Our room in the main building very spacious, lovely bathroom etc. Maid service second to none. This is not a trendy boutique hotel, it is a charming old style abode with friendly helpful staff. Excellent pool and pier area. It is also very well situated for the station, town centre etc. Definitely worth a look, we shall return.

The hotel is in a great location in Sorrento. The hotel could be excellent, but it needs some TLC. The details list 2 restaurants and bars, but only one restaurant was open in June/July 2018. The inside bar area was never staffed. The pool and pier were down the side of the cliff face with great views. There are steps to both, which also needed some tlc, or there is a lift. Towels were provided at both the pier and pool. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the food satisfactory, portions of the starters were the size of a main meal. The rooms were clean, but dated. You have the option when booking to upgrade to a sea view or side sea view, we didn't and our room was above the road, facing the bus station, it was quite noisy with road traffic and car horns. There is air conditioning in the rooms, which was good. There are no facilities for hot drinks in the rooms, and with no bar staff inside it was difficult to get a hot drink outside of breakfast time. Wine in the restaurant was expensive, but you could buy a bottle one night and finish it the next, bottled water with dinner is also extra, as they don't recommend drinking the tap water. Overall, I liked the location and it was great having your own sunbathing area by the sea, but I don't think I would return to the Europa Palace, but would return to Sorrento.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The evening meal is fantastic. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss. The pool and sun deck is great but be careful of the attendent on the sun deck we collected a towel each for the deck and after 4 hours sun bathing we decided we had had enough so we put our towels back. We went into town had lunch. Later in the afternoon about 5 pm we decided to have a swim in the sea but as we took a towel the attendent shouted no more you already had one I said I don't understand and he was very rude and said u speak English you understand. He said I let you off today but no towels tomorrow. What are you supposed to do leave the towel on the bed all day or take the towel with you. This really upset me and to make matters worse young girls were fetching more towels and he just smiled at them. We stayed by the pool from then on

i cant fault this hotel it was a perfect venue with beautiful views amazed is all i can say everyone was so friendly and helpful the food was amazing every day a different menu to taste . the night you could just sit near the balcony and take in the amazing scenery ,tottaly worth every single penny
