Shops-wise, there isn't a lot of choice in La Pineda, but you can get souvenirs and essentials. There's also a market on Fridays - bag a cheap watch, belt or pair of shades. Tarragona is your best bet for boutique shopping, while a large mall on the outskirts of the city has everything you need under one roof.
