Ta'Sopu Tower

Ta'Sopu Tower

The name Nadur means ‘keep guard’ and Ta'Sopu Tower was a watch tower built to do just that. The tower, that overlooks the little bay of Daħlet Qorrot, was built in 1667. However in 1798 the tower failed to guard against the arrival of French troops which managed to land just out of its range in a nearby bay.
