Lavatoio Medievale

Translating as ‘medieval laundry’, this fascinating site was built in the Middle Ages and used as a place where women would gather to wash their clothes. The washhouse was still used by locals well into the 20th century and it underwent a huge restoration back in the 90s. You can climb the stone staircase and see water from the river that still flows in and out.
