Belvedere Cannone

Belvedere Cannone

The French put a cannon on this strategic spot in 1808 and the name has stuck. It has also been a favourite vantage point of painters, due to the amazing views of the Faraglioni rocks and beyond. To find the path, go up the staircase just after the bus station closest to the main square and look out for signs.
