Cathedral of St. Domnius

Cathedral of St. Domnius

This octagonal cathedral was originally built in 311AD by a Roman Emperor who persecuted Christians. When he died and was interred here the Christians destroyed his remains and turned the building into a place of worship. A ticket includes entrance to the sacristy and a visit to the crypt, treasury and baptistry.
