Ukino Palmeiras Village & Zoomarine Theme Park

Our room was spotless ,as were the communal areas and grounds however I got a bad eye infection -I believe ccaused by the pool water.The water in the toddler pool was cloudy several days and I never once observed staff monitoring the water.The main restaurant was a bit like a zoo and the children's section was unhealthy and uninspiring.We found the basic items on the main counter quite good but the "themed meals"ie the fajitas were very poor.The meat and fish was cooked by a chef who used the same gloves to handle raw meat and fish -he did have separate tools!Both my husband and I suffered diarrhoea - we believe his was caused by a fish soup made using leftovers.I have a fish allergy and believe that cross contamination was an issue.I suffered a nasty fall and the staff just told me to get ice from the bar.We paid for a sea view and had a lovely room with a sea view which we were allowed to stay in when I was too I'll to fly home.I cannot fault Jet 2 and their insurers who were very helpful.The play areas and factivites are very good and apart from the illness we had a very enjoyable week.The hotel is only a short walk from a lovely beach.As my grandson who eats mainly pasta and bread did not get Ill I would suggest that monitoring what you eat and avoiding recooked food is all that is necessary .Had we not become Ill I would have rated this hotel a 4.5.I did worry about the balcony design as there was a point where our 3 year old grandson could climb up.

this hotel is great for families, great facilities. very friendly staff very helpful and accommodating the hotel is spotlessly clean the rooms are spacious very clean comfortable beds and modern the bathroom is lovely,. the only down side every thing is spaced out if you have walking difficulties you know about it , not much culture in walking distance the local transport is none existence . but would return

Stayed here for 10 days in May. Hotel very clean and staff friendly. Lots of activities and the hotel reps worked very hard keeping everyone entertained. Food was average all inclusive fare. Queues at bars at busy times was a pain. Beer and soft drinks should be self serve then queues would disappear. Hotel in the middle of nowhere so nothing to do outside of hotel complex. lovely beach a short walk away.

Nice hotel, quite location, great facilities for kids, all inclusive and paid extra for premium alcohol. Lovely seafood restaurant on site, the cataplana is fabulous. Evening entertainment was fine. Nice pool areas.

A lovely hotel, great facilities, lots to do and great choice of food. Very clean hotel. And room and balcony view was amazing. My only disappointment was the hotel allowed a kids football tournament into the hotel. As the children were unsupervised for the few aha they were there. They bullied other children , they were loud and ruined some people’s holidays. We are hoping he hotel heed this and do something about this next time . Just wasn’t good for the paying customers who wanted a nice holiday.

Great break away , went out if season So very quiet indeed. Weekend however was taken over by the spanish, but again was not a bad thing . food was good, best we have had in an all inclusive. Did not have great tea or coffee or hot drinks. No ice lollies for kids only ice cream at dinner But overall great. Nothing close by in terms if shops eating places so if looking to explore outside hotel, bus or car needed Beaches were lovely.

Easy check-in. Room okay and cleaned everyday. Food good for all inclusive, always something to eat 24hrs a day! Lounge bar staff particularly good, helpful and friendly. Close to some beautiful small cove beaches, literally 3 minute walk where there are a couple of bars/restaurants. We went during october half term. The last few days were spoilt by a surge of visitors for Halloween themed parties. These guests had no respect and completely took over the hotel. Previously immaculate public areas in total disarray. Toilet area's disgusting and not cleaned. A shame really because we found everything good until they arrived.The hotel is in a quiet area.

Nice family hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was good during the day but night time left a fair bit to be desired. Magic show and music show "Life" were great but other nights sadly lacking. Food quality was good but restaurant unable to keep food hot, so unless you just happened to get to your food choice as it just came out you ended up with lukewarm meals.
