Playadulce Hotel

The first impression of the hotel can be a little confusing, with its homage to the spaghetti westerns that were filmed in the area on the facade, but inside it is very different, a traditional Spanish hotel that is clean, cool and spacious. The decor might be described as dated, but not tired, and it is very well kept by the cleaning staff. Plenty of beds by the pool - we visited in early June - and the buffet breakfast was just superb, something for every taste. Children seemed well catered for and the evening entertainment was varied and - well entertaining. The little resort is very Spanish which we loved, strolling along the esplanade in the evening was lovely and the tapas bars are great for a drink and a bite or two. Happy to go back again for sure.

My husband and I spent a week at this hotel in May 22 we were ion the 10th floor and the views were amazing we paid the extra to upgrade and it was definitely worth it . The hotel staff were very helpful and the entertainment team involved everyone in the daily and evening activities. The rooms are very spacious and clean with large bathrooms.. we would definitely book this hotel again

An excellent hotel with clean rooms and good facilities. The food was varied and very tasty, the staff friendly and efficient. Special mention must be given to Rosa on reception, who was outstanding.The hotel is just over the road from the beach, which can be accessed via the front gardens. There are several snack, tapas bars and restaurants only a short walk away. There are more at the marina.Nearest supermarket is half a mile away directly up the road from the rear of the hotel.Almeria town can be visited cheaply by local buses which run regularly. Bus stop is just over the roundabout from aforementioned supermarket. Very nice stay. Recommended.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on a bed and breakfast basis which was excellent even Cava. Special thanks to the omelette man who worked very hard. We had a site sea view which was great to sit and watch the world go by. All staff very helpful and friendly. I think some rooms could do with an update but overall very good especially the double sinks in the bathroom. Pool is also excellent and plenty of sunbeds. We would not go back to this resort though as too quite for us very Spanish but wold recommend this hotel.

Great relaxing holiday,plenty tapas bars near by,nice pool, rooms ok but no kettle.breakfast good .nice beach very close 20 minute walk to sopermarket or short cab ride.Almeria about 35 minute bus ride.

Great hotel but a poor resort for families. The hotel is perfect for families, animation team are brilliant, the pools are excellent, especially the kids pool with the slides. The food at the restaurant is hit and miss, and breakfast time is unnecessarily complicated, having to queue for eggs and normal bacon instead of it just being with the rest of the breakfast foods at the buffet. The drink selection is brilliant, best choice of good beers and named spirits on the all inclusive list. The bar staff could smile a bit more, although Curro was very friendly. The reception staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated but is still very nice. The resort is very picturesque but absolutely nothing to do outside the hotel, the beach is also a bit of a let down as its shingle and very uncomfortable to walk on.

This hotel is fantastic for children the have several activities on each hour throughout the day, my so. Loved trying new activities like shooting, at Gary, shuffle board and many more. The children reps are fantastic they take there time to get to know each and every child and they go out there way to make each child feel special. The hotel is out the way and we found it hard to eat out as there is only fish bars and tapas around. The food in hotel is all Spanish and they could do with having more on there buffet for children.
