Puerto Banus Holidays

Show on Map

An expansive luxury marina, Puerto Banús has all a party animal could possibly want from a holiday resort.

A must-visit marina

Spain’s answer to St. Tropez, Puerto Banús is a thriving marina, drawing in some five million visitors each year. It’s a regular haunt for international A-listers, housing the luxurious boats of some of the world’s wealthiest individuals – the King of Saudi Arabia included!

Wine and dine like the stars

Puerto Banús’ harbour front is lined with an array of restaurants, so going hungry here is the least of your worries. Serving up enormous and authentic pizzas, Pizzeria Picasso comes highly recommended, having welcomed a whole host of global stars over the years. Afterwards, simply sit back and watch the world go by at the often packed-out Sinatra Bar nearby.

A shopping mecca

Whilst being famed for its eateries and nightspots, avid shoppers will also be in their element here. You’ll find an abundance of designer boutiques and independent clothing retailers, both on the seafront and throughout the narrow back streets, along with a plentiful selection of quaint souvenir shops. Open daily during the summer months, Puerto Banús’ artisan market is also well worth a visit, boasting hand-crafted goods and tasty traditional treats.

Insider Tip

Take a stroll through Marbella’s Old Town for some rest and relaxation. This quaint little area is also a top pick for tasty tapas.

Best beaches

Sun yourself on the glorious sands of Playa Puerto Banús. Revel in the rays and towering palm trees as you gaze out at the azure ocean. The glamorous seaside rolls out to Playa Nueva Andalucía and the pristine Blue Flag beach of Playa Rio Verde.

Top sights

Puerto Banús is renowned for luring the rich and famous, so it’s only right that you wander around Plaza Antonio Banderas, the square named after the Malaga-born actor. You can also marvel at the rows of plush bright white yachts lining the Marina and get in amongst the A-list owners.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with beach clubs to entertain you during the day, but why not get away from the hustle and bustle for a few hours? Swap your champagne glass for a driver or a putter – the resort is home to five staggering golf courses, with a variety of holes to play.

Eating and drinking

Think sparkling luxe, fine seafood dining and fantastic evening events. La Sala has a diverse menu and stylish ambience. There are many other chic Spanish seafront eateries to choose from too, if you fancy a cocktail with your meal. You could also immerse yourself in big American dishes and real rock ‘n’ roll in Marbella’s Hard Rock Café.

Indulge in a touch of retail therapy at Marina Banús Shopping Centre. You can give the credit card a workout in high street favourites, H&M and Zara, whilst there are also designer boutiques for pricier statement pieces nearby. If you’re hunting for souvenirs as well, look no further than the market hosted every Saturday.

Vibrant clubs are everywhere! Hen parties can enjoy the open-air terrace at Tibu for drinks and dancing, whilst you can swim and look stylish among the sun-soaked elite of Ocean Club. If you’re after a swanky neon setup, Pangea is a glamour-drenched club perfect for mingling with reality TV stars. Really push the boat out and sip exclusive vodka, be privy to fashion events and receive VIP treatment at the Cavalli Club, Marbella’s glitziest.
