Hisaronu may only be a few minutes up the mountain from the dreamy beachfront resort of Olu Deniz, but the air feels cooler – and so does the vibe. Great for families, friends and couples, the little village of Hisaronu can do no wrong. Plus it’s a renowned local party town.
Most of the time, this mountainside resort is pretty low-key, with staggering views to steal the moment. But if you go for shop, eat in the local restaurants and then hit the clubs, you’ll soon get to know the bold after-dark scene thriving here.
Hisaronu, Dalaman Area
If you’d like to take home a few souvenirs from your trip to Hisaronu there are plenty of shops to explore. Clothes and handbags are on offer alongside pretty handmade crafts and tasty Turkish delight. The Monday market is especially good for finding something special to take home.
Hisaronu, Dalaman Area
More than 350 homes and churches now stand roofless in the ghost town of Kayakoy. Although the buildings, streets and fountains are weathered and aged, this is not an ancient town, but a modern ruin deserted for political reasons in the 1920s. The town is eerie but beautiful and a very interesting day out.
Hisaronu, Dalaman Area
Hisaronu is a town that comes alive at night. Its Talk of the Town drag show is legendary. But there are also several full-on dance clubs, with foam parties and podium dancers, and plenty of vibrant bars.
