Beaches great and small

Rhodes has been blessed with more than its fair share of golden sands. If you’re looking for sun loungers and restaurant-lined promenades, head to the north-west coast around Rhodes Town or south-eastern Lindos. If you want something more secluded, strike out and explore some of the island’s many hidden coves.

History around every corner

Rhodes has a long and fascinating history, which you can still see traces of today. The island’s most ancient ruins date back to the 8th century BC, and the old walled part of Rhodes Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, complete with a dazzling medieval castle.
