Apartments San Miguel Park Esmeralda Mar

The apartments are well situated with easy walking access to the harbour and small beach nearby. Plenty of places to eat nearby including local restaurant with live music twice a week, Highland Paddy pub with great food and excellent local Chinese restaurant. Apartments have everything you need, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen etc. We had a sea view. Supermarkets close by. Recommend walking to Arena beach and local salt water pool for swim. Definitely recommend these Apartments

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights with family of 2 adults and 2 young teenage sons. The 1 bed refurbished apartment was immaculate, cleaned everyday, except Sundays, clean towels, beds made all as expected. Balcony view over the top pool and sea bay was beautiful. We were at the top half of the hotel which is the Esmeralda half and it is a steep hill trek up and down from the accommodation down to the restaurant and entertainment area by the smaller lower pool. The entertainment was good, Tibor and Alice were brilliant, made it so much fun. Tibor clearly loves ensuring guests are having a great time and was always very friendly and approachable. The previous comment about him being inappropriate with sexist comments is ridiculous and this reviewer had nothing good to say about the whole holiday! Tibor is very conscious of providing family fun entertainment and games and cheeky comments are all part of the fun, everybody we saw each evening were having a great time. Alice is quite new to the team and she made the duo fun, Tibor and Alice work well together. Even on our 1 rainy day, Tibkr was having a day off but Alice ensured that there was fun activities under cover for families. We went All Inclusive for the first time and tbh the food was OK. There was a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. Lunches and dinners had better days than others but there was not enough choice for children who didn't eat red meat or fish. We had to ask the staff for more chicken choices each day and they did provide this. Restaurant staff are very efficient at keeping tables cleared for you so you can have clean plates for more helpings if you wish. Downside of eating in restaurant each day on AI is there is only a 2 - 2.5 hour window to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner and you are prohibited from taking food out of the restaurant so you are tied into eating to a tight routine. The top pool is a lovely big size but very deep for the most part so not ideal for very young children or to just play games as you are out of depth for most of it. There is a pool bar at the top pool for all drinks and icecreams however the barista coffee machine was not working the whole of our stay. Also the bar closes when the restaurant is open so from 12.30 till 3.30 and 6.00pm onwards there is no access to any drinks or snacks unless you trek down to the restaurant which is a pain if you want to get drinks back up to the top pool.

Personally didn't like the hotel at all, it should be advertised as a camp site, but we are pensioners !! For young people, or young families it would be superb. We want relaxation ! None ! Lots of activities during the day, wonderful kids club !!The rooms are mini apartments spread over a large site, overall very pretty, lots to do if that way inclined and the staff were lovely, but not suited to older couples.

the hoel is on a slope so you have to climb steps to get to your room so not good for the elderly, evening meal is a buffet not a wide choice ,we ate out 5 nights out of 7, staff very nice, we where in an apartment that smelt very bad the rubbish bin was full of dirty nappies as the cleaners do not work saturday afternoon or sundays.

Nice Hotel with superb food and a good standard of accommodation. The Entertainment team were excellent and tireless. Lovely small village with a good, but gritty, beach. Canoes and padalos available for hire and waterskiing on offer. There are only about 4 bars in the resort and a couple of restaurants. Daily bus service to St Antonio and Ibiza Town. Good boat trips available from the beach. The only downside was the PA from the hotel could be heard throughout the whole village!

A lot of ups and downs with this hotel we were all inclusive for two weeks so got very boring like most hotels and no snacks in between meals other than cakes usually you would get burgers hotdogs and chips in between meals but not at this hotel,breakfast is fantastic but lunch and dinner are very bland and not much choice, good ice cream selection for kids though and adults, rooms very very 1980s but clean enough I didn't get much sleep atol as doors banged all night I am a light sleeper at the best of times but found I couldn't sleep and the air con was very loud so couldn't keep it on over night pool areas were spotless and all the staff at the hotel were lovely also the guy who does the animation has to be the best I have ever saw he is very over worked and dosnt complain atol, the girl he was working with was off sick so he was doing morning afternoon and evening entertainment all by himself lovely guy and always trying to get everyone to join in he took a lot of time making sure everyone was involved in activities we met a lot of wonderful people whilst at this hotel because it's a small complex everyone was so friendly we met some lovely people who go back to this hotel every year.
