Hotel Botanico and The Oriental Spa Garden

Our second visit to the Botanico and like home from home. 2 lovely restaurants to dine in the Asian and the Italian well prepared dishes with excellent service. The gardens were glorious and a real pleasure to walk around. We also visited the hotels sister restaurant Brunellis steak house which was exceptional. The lowering of the window on to the ocean was spectacular and added to a lovely evening and well recommended for a change to the hotel food. A lovely hotel with high standards means we will return. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms are of an excellent size are well appointed, restaurants serve good quality food if sometimes not as authentic as the menus might suggest. We enjoyed our walks down into town it's about a mile and a half to the old town, it's a steep climb back so guests need to be able to walk uphill or take the free bus provided by the hotel/taxi. There is musical entertainment each evening.

The Hotel and Gardens are exceptional , we stayed in a superior double on the first floor with views over the pools and patio area . The breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for ( within reason of course ) staff very friendly and courteous Highly recommended .. we expect to return again to this hotel next year

Great hotel and the New Year Gala dinner was fantastic. Enjoyed the golf practice area. Staff very attentive and helpful. Swimming pool very good and not cold. We would return especially for this type of holiday - very relaxing.

Our family group comprising Grandma, Grandpa, son and daughter in law and their 4 year old and a 8 week old baby had a brilliant Christmas and New Year at Hotel Botanico. The hotel was excellent , meals delightful and much choice and the service and friendliness of all staff were a joy. We look forward to a return visit as soon as possible.

If you are thinking about booking this hotel, go ahead and do it! The Hotel was immaculate and staff all very friendly. We weren't planning on using the kids club, but our children (aged 10 and 7) asked to go and enjoyed it so much they insisted on going back several times. The breakfast was splendid. We didn't use the restaurants as my daughter is very fussy, but there were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Tremendously helpful staff. Big rooms all with wonderful views. Lush gardens. Pools a bit smaller than some, but quiet (probably not suitable for rowdy kids wanting to splash and play ball games). Overall very civilised experience.

My husband and myself stayed at this lovely hotel in February. I can't fault this Hotel everything was fantastic. The staff were so nice, happy and could not do enough for us. We are returning this Sptember. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had,
