Forget camera filters, this region’s colour palette is off the chart. Parga Town’s buildings have an Italianate feel and come in luscious lemon-yellows and stunning sky-blues, while up in the old town, bougainvillea petals cascade like confetti in the wonderful warm breeze. And the beaches? Well, they’re proof that all that glistens is gold.
When it comes to resorts, the pretty beach of sparkling Sivota beckons, along with its promenade cafés and bars. But Parga offers so much more than just chocolate-box towns. Nature fans should visit Acheron River’s waterside pathways, while culture vultures will enjoy the local festivals. Sailing’s big round here too.
