Church of the Panayia

Church of the Panayia

This charming little Byzantine church can be found just opposite El Greco museum. With four pillars and a dome, it was built in the 14th century, on the remains of an older, 8th-century church. There are beautiful ancient frescoes inside, but you'll have to visit before 3pm, and it's closed on Mondays.
