Globales Gardenia Hotel

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly and approachable we stayed 14 nights not very good entertainment for adults and we were so bad two days before coming home in bed all day with food poisoning was really poorly

What can i say? After reading previous reviews about cold food, miserable staff etc i was slightly dubious about our holiday but what i have learnt from reading reviews is please please dont take reviews too serious. The hotel itself was so clean, yes the rooms were basic but the cleanest i have ever come accross. You sleep in there, it doesnt need to be anything much more than basic. Food in the restaurant was excellent. so much choice, always topped up, the chef cooking on the fresh meat part was just so lovely and smiley and the food was cooked perfectly, The staff from the management, the cleaners, the restaurant staff, the entertainment team were the happiest group of people ive ever come accross on holiday. a smile for everyone. Frankie the life guard joined in with all the kids and they loved him for this. Lola, sarah and raffa were a massive asset to the hotel and again the kids thought they were awesome. nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them. The ladies serving at the outside bar have to be the most cheerful ladies in their job. The beach was straight accross the road, Lots of restaurants and bars on the way into the centre of fenguerola. Just perfect. Will def come back but for longer than 7 days next time!!!

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. A very good selection of very good food from the buffet. I prefer this as I can try a bit of nearly everything. Food is always hot and a salad choice is there as well.

just had 10 days n loved it.. great view from 9th floor wich i asked for... food was good plenty of choice eps if you like pork...5 different ways of serving it.. from leg. to chops.. directly Cross the rd from a great beach. with a nice beach cafe.rest. staff helpful.. lifts could be a problem when busy. (not often).we loved it and Would love to return...

this was not as advertised on the Jet2 website. since booking this holiday the pictures have actually changed. if I had seen the hotel as it truly was I would not have booked to stay here. it is not a hotel for families with young children, the average age of the hotel guests was in the region 0f 65 the main rep visiting the hotel the most was from SAGA. we were told there was no kids club and no mini disco by the hotel management as it was too early in the season. on a positive note the rooms were more than adequate for our needs. spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. the housekeeping team obviously take a lot of pride in the work and it shows. the food overall was to a good standard although there wasn't really much variety. we were all inclusive and found it to be quite repetitive and if you go into the restaurant at a certain time the food was cold. although it was replenished on a regular basis. the one thing that let down the food was the choice of desserts or lack of it was the same thing every day and not something that a child would generally eat. kids more than anyone eat with their eyes and in this case when the desserts have fancy fruit and stuff sticking out of the top it really puts them off. and we had a case of the restaurant staff not wanting to set a table for breakfast as they were trying to set up ready for lunch, i can understand wanting to be prepared but when you have guests still coming in for breakfast that should be a priority.one of the mornings we couldn't go out to the pool the hotel management had closed it without notice so that they could shoot a video and take pictures to update their corporate website. the lack of information coming for the management team was not great at all. the saving grace for this hotel was in my opinion the Animation team. Lola, George, Rafa and Marcin were absolutely fantastic. they really stood out and went above and beyond in my view. getting everyone involved in the planned games they had and I believe it was Lola who made the decision to change the entertainment schedule for having a mini disco at the weekend to all week through. my son absolutely loved this evening entertainment and the team were fantastic with him all week. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you have a young family but if you are of the older generation then the facilities and location of this hotel make it a perfect holiday destination.

hotel clean very friendly staff. pool and pool area cleaned every morning. plenty of sunbeds and areas to sit. overlooking the beach. great views. lovely areas to sit and have a drink outside at night. pool bar very good and staff are great. food very good but always only warm. plenty of choice. drinks very good. cleaners came in room every day. not enough sockets in room. we had 2 but only 1 worked

Hotel itself is Nice and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Location too far away from shops well there is a mini market ground floor of the hotel. Breakfast is basic could do more option for cereal and fresh fruits. Rooms are big enough need a bigger tv and ENGLISH CHANNEL.

We had just spent 7 days at this hotel. It's such a lovely Hotel. The staff are so friendly, the hotel is so clean. I can't fault the food. The rooms are lovely we stayed in 317 it was a big room with a amazing veiw. The ents staff put a show on every night and there's things going on through the day. You can join or not what ever you prefer. It's not a children's hotel and that suited me fine. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which is very helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day. I can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Globales Gardenia hotel and would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening entertainment was very good. The hotel was very clean and the food was good.

We always enjoy our holiday at the gardenia we have been four times and carnt wait till the next time thanks to Lola and George for the great entertainment the food was good what people don’t understand is that you’re in Spain don’t keep moaning the rooms are spotless the grounds are amazing straight across the road from the beach thanks to all at the gardenia
