Step back in time

Why not dive into the island’s and the town’s history while you’re here? Down at the Museo Etnologico de Muro, based in a 17th-century house, you’ll find displays and artefacts depicting its rural pastimes. Expect sculptures, medicines, tools and pottery.

It’s well worth hiring a car to get out and about and explore everything the area has to offer. If you’re a vino fan, Bodegas Butxet isn’t far away, hidden in the hills between Muro and C’an Picafort. You can easily spend a day here learning about the winemaking process and sampling a few glasses.
