So much to see

Visit the stunning village of Stroggili, inland from the coast. In a secluded valley, this tiny settlement has a few houses, tavernas and a church. At Moraitika, make sure you climb up to the original village Ano Moraitika, which nestles above today’s modern resort. Its narrow lanes are home to picturesque, unspoilt houses.

Get some wheels

Hire a car and explore the southern part of Corfu. Enjoy the wilds of Lake Korisson, a large lagoon with a nature reserve and remote beaches. Or stroll around the charming ancient village of Agios Mattheos with its stone houses and monasteries, before wandering through the ruins of the 13th-century Gardiki Castle.
