Days by the shore

Life in Mochlos revolves around the shore. Here, pebbly beaches meet calm seas that are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Lunchtimes are best spent in one of the local tavernas, where you can tuck into seafood just steps from the waves and boats bob gently in the harbour.

Step back in time

Hop across to Mochlos Island to explore the remains of an important Minoan settlement, one of Crete’s earliest. On the mainland, scattered ruins and archaeological sites add an air of mystery to the scenery and tell tales of time gone by.
