Sightseeing and sailing

The dinky harbour is a popular sailing point for Mount Athos cruises. They sail daily, taking holidaymakers past the famous monasteries and along the stunning coastline. Head here in July and you can catch the town’s biannual regatta!

Exploring is easy

Ormos Panagias is the gateway to the north-eastern coast of Sithonia with its barely-touched beaches and turquoise water. It’s also near to the village of Agios Nikolaos, which boasts well-preserved architecture and cute cobbled streets. It’s well worth a visit if you fancy a break from the beach.
