With an arc of sparkling golden sand, twinkling emerald waters and a vibrant nightlife scene, St Julian’s is a resort where you can chill all day and party all night. It’s a tale of two sides here – venture to the marina for laid-back waterfront restaurants or boogie over to Paceville for more bars than you can shake a bottle of champers at.

St Julian's, Malta and Gozo
St. Julian's is renowned for its vibrant nightlife, beautiful coastal views, and luxury accommodations. This picturesque town offers a blend of cultural experiences, a lively dining scene, and a range of recreational activities, making it a favoured destination for both leisure travellers and expatriates.
The optimal times to visit St. Julian's are during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months, as the weather is typically mild, and tourist crowds are smaller. Summers can be hot and crowded, while winters are cooler but still enjoyable for travellers seeking a quieter experience.
St. Julian's has St. George's Bay, a managed sandy beach. It's convenient but can get very crowded. For Malta's most famous and beautiful beaches, like Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa, or Mellieħa Bay, you will need to take a bus or taxi (approx. 30-45 minutes).
The primary areas in St. Julian's renowned for their vibrant nightlife include Paceville, which is often considered the heart of the entertainment scene. It features an array of bars, nightclubs, and entertainment venues. Additionally, the waterfront area offers several outdoor lounges and restaurants where visitors can enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.
It can be, but location is key. While the Paceville area is geared towards adults and nightlife, areas around Balluta Bay or the quieter parts of Spinola Bay are more family-friendly. There are playgrounds, seaside promenades for strolling, and plenty of restaurants that welcome children. The main advice is to book accommodation away from the central Paceville district.
