Canary Islands

Canary Islands holidays

Deserts, dense woods and breathtaking mountains sit side-by-side on the spectacular Canary Islands. Year-round sun makes the quartet of Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura sing the same tune. Each one’s a firm favourite for unique reasons – think wine tasting, getting active, sprawling out on sand, and eating culinary masterpieces.

Natural wonder

They might have started life as volcanic eruptions, but the Canaries look amazing. Here you’ll find snow-capped mountains towering near indulgent beaches, and everything from lava fields to sand dunes and lush forests – it’s a feast for the eyes. The highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide, is in Tenerife.

Just how you like it

If you fancy some variation, the Canaries have it all. In lively Tenerife, you’ll maximise on fun in the sun and up in the hills, while Fuerteventura’s stacked out with a whopping 150 beaches. Lanzarote’s north coast is a surfer’s paradise, and Gran Canaria’s jaw-dropping landscape is protected by nature reserves.

Vibrant capitals

The Canaries boasts two epic capitals. Las Palmas is Gran Canaria’s animated soul, offering a great viewpoint of the city. Gaze upon magnificent cathedrals, exciting avenues and classy bars for cold cocktails. Cosmopolitan Santa Cruz de Tenerife is alluring, welcoming you with open arms to its subtropical gardens and shopping streets.
